Very nice stay

Small home but comfortable and nice. Stayed one night to attend a funeral in Ligonier. Very good price and easy access to/from Ligonier. Would recommend for similar circumstances.

We had a great time!

The place was super clean and exactly as advertised. They also provided about 7-8 full size bath towels and a ton of extra blankets which was a nice surprise. It was a little chilly when we got there but it warmed up quickly. Overall very pleased with our stay and would recommend!!

Great Location and great place to stay

The place was very comfortable for 5 -6 people it was very roomy and we did not feel like we were on top of each other. The location was great it was with 30 minutes of 3 ski resorts. It was very quiet and even had some nightly deer visitors. We would definitely stay again.

Great Location!!

The location is fantastic! We loved the walkable roads and the proximity to Linn Run State Park, Ligonier, and Ohiopyle. The property itself needed a little bit of attention—cleanliness and minor maintenance were both issues. The kitchen is really well appointed and we appreciated that fact!

Comfort in the Country

Unfussy, casual home that's clean and comfortable. Location is out of the way...in a good way. Fallingwaters is just a 45-minute drive: a must see!

Girls weekend

House was really cute. Furniture need a a little updating. Beds were very comfortable. Would have liked some outside seating, it was a beautiful day and we had to carry the dining chairs outside.not an easy task at our age.

As Advertised

My wife and I took one our kids (and her spouse) and three grandkids under 5 to Idlewild. This was the perfect location in relation to the park. It "lives" bigger than it looks from the outside (although we didn't use the kitchen). The furniture is worn, but nothing was broken or unsafe. And the house was very clean. Only recommendation for the host would be a clear (and maybe lit) house number. We arrived after dark, and although the GPS was spot on, its always nevous opening an unfamiliar door after dark.Planning another adventure with another child / grandchild combination and would not hesitate to book again.

Nestled in the woods

2 large does greeted us upon our arrival. We saw several other deer in the yard all through the evening. It has a cozy little living room where we sat and chatted for hours. Beds were comfortable. We didn’t use the kitchen at all. There is some awesome art on the walls and a vast record collection. Wish there had been a record player to enjoy them.

The host was great called about water and he responded quickly.As far as the property it needs a deep clean furnishings and carpet are very used no blinds on a couple windows and a towel on the window in the shower.

The home had a renovated kitchen and bathroom. The problem was the furniture was all very old, stained, covered in kids stickers, sofas were trash. Throw away 1/2 the not needed furniture, replace the sofas and the house would be great.
