We would happily recommend the house and location to others. The nearest small town, Saint Andiol, was about 6 minutes away by car and had an excellent boulangerie as well as a small supermarket and pharmacy"

"Just returned from a lovely stay in Mouries, Provence. Rudy the owner was extremely helpful on arrival recommending some super places for us to visit. The air-conditioning was extremely welcome in the current heatwave we've been experiencing. A great boulangerie/patisserie 2 minutes on foot down the road (one of several in the town!) . Great base for our trips out to visit the region. The garden was particularly lovely to sit out in - beautifully maintained."

"The house is located a short walk (15 - 20mins) from St Remy’s lovely restaurants and cafes but is far enough for you to enjoy some peace and quiet. The house was brilliantly set up with everything you could possibly need. The garden and pool were perfect and enjoyed all day sun. Highly recommend staying here!"

"We stayed here for a week touring Provence and The Camargue, the villa is ideally situated within 30-60 minutes of many places like Avignon, Nîmes, Arles, Aigues Mortes and more. We were only two but the villa can accommodate a family. We met the cleaner and the gardener whilst their and neither spoke English so a phone app like Translate on the iPhone is recommended. The owners communicated in both English and French so no issues there. Tip: if you visit the are, try speaking a little French,...

"We really enjoyed our stay at Mas d’Oscar. The property is just as depicted, with everything that we needed at hand. The location was perfect-it was less than 5 minutes walk into town and about a minute to the grocery store. It was good to know that our host Genevieve was available and just a message away in case we had any questions or problems. She met us at the property then we first arrived, which was great. I nightly recommend this property!"

"My adult kids, their family and friends and I spent a wonderful two weeks in this beautiful home in June 2024. It is spacious, comfortable, well equipped and well-located near Avignon. There are endless villages and towns within a 1.5 hour radius of the house and when you want to take a break from the Roman structures, the charming village squares, the lavender fields and the wineries, you relax in the lovely garden and pool that the home provides. "The place was perfect for the three of us!"

"The villa is nice, beds, AC, pool. A 10 minute drive outside of St Remu so you will need a car. The check in process was difficult and lacked proper communication about bringing your own basic house necessities like hand soap, toilet paper and garbage bags. Finding finding the wifi code was like a scavenger hunt. The property contact was not kind or helpful. Would not stay again."

"We all had a wonderful stay at this very secluded home on a sheep farm with pretty grounds and views and were able to explore the many acres of the farm with a very informative tour of the vineyards which resulted in a wine tasting session of Jeffs excellent wines. Our hosts were helpful and very welcoming. I should point out that the property is advertised as having two bathrooms when it infact only has one but the beds are comfortable and we all slept well. "Our second time at Xavier's house. The niggles from last year have mostly been addressed, except the fan in the bathroom. A very pleasant 2 weeks with glorious sunshine throughout. The dogs remembered the villa straight away and were very settled in the garden. Although we had neighbours in the front house this time, parking for a car each was not a problem. Able to visit all of our old haunts in western Provence, and a few new ones. We will be back again - maybe not next year - but soon."
