"Wir haben 2 wunderschöne Wochen in Heidi`s Häuschen in Bad Mitterndorf verbracht. Das Haus ist geschmackvoll und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Frisch renovierte Bäder und eine komplette Ausstattung im Haus und Garten tragen dazu bei, dass man sich sofort zuhause fühlt. Das Freizeitangebot in Bad Mitterndorf und Umgebung ist auch im Sommer sehr vielfältig. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder!"

"Stay was a picturesque fantasy view with charming B&B elements in the house. Charming hostess and beautiful breakfast. Minor issues with TV remote not working so TV did not work. Hostess was lovely. Said we could reach out to them for anything, but was unclear how to do that once we made it to our room as the house is not clear about where the hostess stays or how to get in touch. "

"Cute and modern 3 bedroom, well-equipped kitchen, spacious bath with large shower which is not common! We did arrive around 2030 and their were no bath towels, but the caretaker came immediately. The cost of linens and towels and cleaning fee should be built in to the final price but in the fine print it says you must pay in cash this extra amount. We had most of the cash needed to pay the 110E extra but we were short 3E. We asked if that would be enough but she said no. We found an ATM the next...

"The cottage was ok, very small and rather outdated, but it did the job for a quick overnight stay during our Bavaria and Austria trip, would not recommend for longer stay. HOWEVER, not only are there additional guest and verbo service fees on top of the nightly charge, which is typical, but there's 70 eur cleaning fee in cash AND 10 eur per person towel and bed linen fee in cash! Each person has to bring their own bed linen and towels. And you'll receive an email with mattress and bedding...

"We arrived in Hallstatt around 3pm and found a parking spot in P1. It takes about 5-10 minutes to walk to the VRBO. There is a shuttle available, but I cannot comment on that. The key was in a lock box beside the VRBO, on the Seeside Café wall. You have to climb stairs to get to your room. Upon walking in, the lake view immediately draws you in! It is breathtaking! "Heritage Hotel is likely one of the best places to stay on Hallstatt. It is located right next to the boat ramp (which you will need to take across the lake if you are arriving by train, 8 euro per person for round trip) and is convenient to all cafes, restaurants, shops. Hotel staff was very welcoming and friendly, offer luggage storage for before and after your check in! Heads up on visiting Hallstatt during January - several shops and activities such as the bone house and sky walk were closed until February. Still plenty to see and do, but a lot of the things we wanted to do most we were unable to. Not all closures were accurately listed online. "
