"Beautiful property and location. House, pool, lake, bikes, boat all made for a perfect holiday. Communication with owners was very good and the pool was kept clean by Claude who visited often to check everything was OK. Wish we could have stayed for longer, would definitely return again with more of the family."

There is a reasonable telephone signal but we quickly used up our data roaming allowance as we were there to search for a property. There is a restaurant in the next village and a supermarket in Felletin which also hosts a country market on Friday mornings. It is lovely being in the middle of the Millevaches Plateau but that does mean it takes a long time to get anywhere. The host was very kind and helpful...

"I had a lovely week, away from it all, in Haute Correze. I love the area though I wasn't familiar with Ussel and its surroundings but found loads of new places to see and things to do. The accomodation was very spacious (I was alone), the dining room, kitchen and bathroom all well- equipped. I was there during a heatwave and the terrace was sometimes just too hot to sit out on, but still an asset to the property."
