"It was a single unit flat which we liked. It was absolutely good for privacy and quietness. The space inside the flat was very well organised, but small. It is close to the city, but at the same time quite and far from concrete and buildings. It was a pleasant stay, and with the good weather, in spring or summer it should be amazing! We staid in late October and it was rainy, so couldn’t enjoy the full potential of the property. "

"Residenza Ariosto is an excellent place to stay in Bologna. The apartment is not luxurious but is clean ,comfortable and has everything you need. The apartments in via Marsala are in a great position to explore and enjoy Bologna. Instructions for check in are clear. This is our second stay and we highly recommend."

"Great apartment but the building is undergoing some massive renovation and there was a lot of noise during the day and construction scaffolds everywhere. Both balconies in the apartment had scaffolding out front so we couldn’t use them and had to keep the windows closed. The area isn’t great, typical university type vibe. Didn’t feel unsafe at all, but lots of graffiti. If we go back I’d probably choose a place closer to piazza maggiorie. "

"O apartamento tem ótima localização, principalmente para quem vai pegar o trem para outras cidades ao redor como Modena, Imola etc. Também está próximo de dois mercados (COOP e Aldi) e restaurantes. Em termos de "comodidades", o colchão da cama poderia ser melhor e também a quantidade de saches de sabonete líquido. Nós tivemos que comprar sabonete para podermos tomar banho mais "tranquilamente"."

"We chose this location and place based on the 5 start reviews and they were right. The apartment is beautiful and clean. Antonio's parents greet you at the arrival and explain how the place works. Antonio is responsive to text messages. The location is 5 minutes from the train station and convenient to do days trips. You can find everything nearby including restaurants, grocery store, historical buildings. Would stay there again."

"The property was amazing! Right near the historic city center but tucked away just enough so that it didn’t feel too close to it all. There are 75 stairs to the apartment door, so be prepared for a bit of a climb to then have amazing views!! Very clean and better than you would imagine from the pictures. "

"Overall it was great. It would’ve been nice to know that there is no elevator because the apartment is on the 3rd floor and there were a lot of stairs, so if you’re coming with a lot of luggage, it is a struggle. The apartment has a regular bed and a sofa bed, which were pretty comfortable. We did need more sheets and towels during our stay. The location was perfect and the communication with the staff was also very good. "

"The Aparment is an interior unit over looking the interior roof of the building underneath. It's on the second floor right above one of the main city fresh food and fish markets. It's very centrally located right next to the main city square with walkable distance to all the main city attractions. However with that location comes really heavy noise in the evenings from several restaurants and bars downstairs until late, as well as some mornings hearing all the bottles and garbage...

"They said there was wifi and there wasn’t. The fridge did not work. The picture showing the beautiful garden actually belonged to the person who lived next to the studio. There was no door to the bathroom. There was plywood everywhere. The look was high and difficult to access even thought we are fit and trim women. Worst place I have ever had to stay in. "

"Giuseppina & Marco are great hosts, met us at the apartment and made sure that we had everything they needed. They also organised a taxi/van to collect us from the airport and to return again at the end of our stay - this included a baby seat for our baby! "This was not quite what was expected, and we were not the demographic usually targeted. The room was basic and clean. The laundry was very welcomed. Please do not stay here on a Saturday if you need to go to sleep early. The property hosted a big, loud event, with music thumping through the rooms until 11:30. Hotel guests seem to be a secondary consideration here. The passageways smelt manky, and the carpeting and floors needed a thorough vacuum. Dust and gunk everywhere. "
