This is a good property with good customer service. The morning breakfasts were good. The breakfasts at this property offer different selections. My wife and I may consider this property again whenever in Rethymno.

Highly recommend this lovely family run hotel in a quiet location outside rethymno. Beach is down the road. The entire staff/family was warm, welcoming and professional. All our needs were addressed with joy and compassion. The hosts offered detailed advice about all the great places to visit. My husband had a health issue and we were pointed to the best clinic. As well, due to the issue, extra care was taken in our room. Truly a gem of a small hotel!

A hidden gem!
We’ve just arrived home from staying a week at Mary Royal and I just had to leave a review! The hotel is beautiful, spotlessly clean and our basement studio in the new building was gorgeous. Our studio had everything we needed and suited us well as I struggle with walking distances and the hotel was very easy to use my manual wheelchair from the entrance to our studio (just a couple of steps down to the basement studio). What also makes it is the people who work here, they’re incredibly friendly and they really do make you feel so welcomed. I’m sad to be home as we really enjoyed our stay in Crete with Mary Royal but won’t hesitate recommending this hotel to everyone, it really is a little hidden gem - I hope we will be back one day too! Thank you Konstantinos and your wonderful team (I’ll also miss ‘Mary’ the stray kitten who started visiting the hotel - I wish I could’ve taken her home!). A couple of our favourites places we discovered for future guests: The little village called Margarites, it’s incredibly cute and we spent so long choosing which pottery to bring home! There’s also Taverna Mántalos, where we had the best lunch - you must go! Added bonus is the beautiful view. For beaches where the sea is more calm to be able to swim in we loved Kalivaki beach (the one in the West of Georgioupolis) and Kalyves beach (by CostaAnita cafe - they bring lunch/drinks to you on the beach - perfect!).

We have been on Crete for 6 weeks and Mary Hotel and Suites is our favorite. The superior split level suite is exceptional and this is eclipsed by the friendliness and service of the staff! We were heartily welcomed and treated very well. The amenities are modern and it was a very enjoyable stay! We will return.

We can warmly recommend Mary Hotel and Mary Royal Suites. It is located 5 minutes walk to the beach and 3 minutes to many tavernas and shops. The rooms are clean and the kitchen fully equipped. Next to the pool there is a garden with sun loungers. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, always fresh, prepared by the owner. The hosts Konstantinos and his mother Evghenia were so friendly, thoughtful, polite and generous. I am very grateful to them for organizing my daughter's birthday and for making our stay unforgettable! At the departure we were given 2 cans of olive oil produced by the owners family. My kids can't wait to go back next summer!

Einfach klasse!! Tolles, überaus freundliches Team, das einem alle Wünsche erfüllt. Gutes Frühstück. Wir hatten ein Appartement mit 2 Zimmern, kleiner Küche. Die ganze Anlage ist in gutem, sauberem Zustand und liegt etwas abseits, aber Restaurants, Läden und der Strand sind nur wenige 100 Meter entfernt. Parkplätze sind vor dem Haus oder nur wenig entfernt verfügbar.

Une famille vraiment gentille et un hôtel à taille humaine bien tenu. Nous avions un logement avec la chambre en mezzanine super sympa avec vue sur la piscine. A refaire ! Un super séjour et nous recommandons vivement cet hôtel, sans oublier le petit cadeau de la part de la famille à notre depart.

Séjour de 3 semaines en famille pour se balader un peu partout en Crète. Point idéal car assez central. Avant toute chose, je tiens à saluer la gentillesse de tout le personnel ! N'hésitez-pas à demander des bons plans à Konstantinos (ou Konstantin, ou Kostas comme vous voulez, le boss), ou Giorgos, le barman ! De même s'il vous faut un ventilateur ou quoi que ce soit, ils vous aideront. Mary Hôtel est conforme à ce qui est proposé. La chambre spacieuse, la cuisine parfaite et une très jolie salle d'eau. Le ménage est fait quasiment tous les jours dans la chambre et les draps/serviettes changés au maximum tous les 3 jours. Vous pouvez disposer de 2 piscines (de 9h00 à 21h00), celle de Mary Hôtel et celle de Mary Royal. Il est possible de prendre le petit-déjeuner sur place le matin. La plage est à 150m et la ville de Platanes (à 5 minutes en voiture de Rethymnon) est parfaite quand vous souhaitez vous poser sans trop de monde. Vous y trouverez tout. Nous avons passé 3 merveilleuses semaines en grande partie grâce aux conseils qui nous ont été donnés et à cet hôtel à taille humaine.

Wir haben in dem ganz neuen doppelstöckigen Appartement übernachtet. Das ist von der Ausstattung her kaum zu überbieten. Alles nagelneu, durchdacht, geschmackvoll und gemütlich. Der Pool und die Anlage an sich sind wunderschön. Die Anlage ist nicht zu groß und sehr familiär. Die Betreiber und das Personal, insbesondere die junge, hübsche herzliche Dame an der Rezeption sind aufrichtig freundlich und überaus herzlich. Man fühlt sich wie daheim. Auch der öffentliche Strand, der 2 min entfernt ist, ist super schön und sauber. Der dortige Strandabschnitt bei Pavlos ist besonders zu empfehlen.Herzlichen Dank an all das Personal vor Ort und die unvergessliche Zeit!!!!!
