The property is nice but when they advertise a city view the room looks straight across the very narrow road looking into a block of houses. City view must mean seeing the city not a block of flats 4 meters away

The hotel itself is beautiful. From the outside to the inside, the commun area and the rooms; everything is clean with a simple and elegant vibe to it.
The breakfast offered is vast and with a lot of variety, delicious as everything else in Crete.
Location wise, it's central and you can walk to the port from there. There are many restaurants around the area that are pure gems.
The staff was super friendly and helpful.
The downsides were the unstable WiFi. We were told the bottles of water in the mini fridge were complimentary and would be replenish daily but they were not, maybe they just forgot. And the handle of the bathroom door kept falling off. All minor inconveniences that did not really affect us for the short time we stayed.
Overall, recommended.

Pros:
The hotel location, beds , breakfast buffet and cleanliness were all fine.
Cons;
The check in was not smooth at all. The reception was rude in communication . The washroom was a bit smelly.
