"Many local folks and tourists seem to come to this hotel for dinner. I recommend it for dinner too, excellent food. The location is right on the beach. The only inconvenience is access to certain rooms, which has to be through the restaurant, which is really weird, especially when I had to take my dog out and had to squeeze between the tables. "The hotel itself is value for money. Finding the kettle and coffee maker in the room was a plus. The outside space is a lovely sun trap in the evening. We stayed in early June and the area was generally quiet. The hotel was hosting a school trip, which not an issue for us. We were only there for 2 nights, Mon/Tues, which did mean having to drive the 2 miles to Arramanche to find somewhere to eat, as none of the local venues were open on those evenings. I presume this changes once the season...

"Great stay for 4 nights in Normandy after having arrived on the ferry from Portsmouth. Hotel was ideally located for Arromanches, a nice seaside town famous for being the centre of the D-Day landings by the British on Sword beach and the location of the Mulberry B harbour which still dominates the sea horizon. The hotel was just a five-minute walk into the centre of town and the beach. Rooms were clean and modern, but a bit warm as there was no air conditioning – the hotel gave us a tower...
