Decent hotel but a struggle to check in

This hotel room was located in the heart of Reykjavik and met all of our needs. Please be aware that the balcony is shared amongst all rooms on that floor. There is no front desk staff at all. All communication is via phone or email. The VRBO listing said 2pm check-in but I was notified via email the day of my booking that check-in was 3pm. This is irritating after traveling overnight. They also provided us the incorrect door code two times to get in the building. They were quick to answer via email so that was helpful.
