"Really enjoyed our one night stay, the rooms were spacious and very clean, only down side was the windows above wardrobe in the bedroom let too much light in the room early hours of a morning, a blind on them would help to elimate this issue. The restaurant was up to our standard and reasonable priced, the evening meals were nice and big breakfast spot on and great value."

"This is a great property and we had a wonderful week in Orford. The house is very well appointed with all that you need. It was very clean and spacious. While we only had the two of us, it is definitely large enough for a family stay. The house has a nice range of books, games, a large TV and stereo if you have a rainy day. The kitchen has everything you need if you are on a budget and looking to cook rather than dine out. Situated in a quiet spot, we loved that we were close to all amenities and the beach. A short walk or a 1 minute drive to the IGA, Scorchers Café (great pizzas) and Wattlebanks Coastal Cafe. Only 7km to Triabunna where we had great seafood from the Fish Van. The Spring Bay Seafood and WIne Bar is also only a few km away and had great food and lovely service. The Orford Blue Waters Hotel and the Tandara Motor Inn are also only a short drive for nice meals. While out of the hustle and bustle of Hobart, we were only 1 hour away. We visited Salamanca Markets on Saturday first up in the morning then off to Port Arthur for the rest of the day. Centrally located, we enjoyed trips to Richmond, up to Ross, Swansea, the Tasman Arch and Blowhole. One highlight for us was to go for a walk at dusk and go rabbit spotting. Cottontail rabbits hop through the streets of Orford in the evening. Delightful sights!! Our Stayz contact Belinda was very helpful and answered any questions we had with a quick response. We would definitely recommend this accommodation. "

"A lovely house nestled on a hill that gives it privacy, but is only 5 minutes from civilisation (and excellent coffee!), the beach, or the main road back to Hobart. Do yourself a favour and spend some time here!"

"Well equipped stay in peaceful surrounds. Jetty for paddling and fishing with a lovely beach short walk away. So much to do in the area. Or just chill and read with a water view."

"This place was great for families and pet friendly. Rumpus room for kids with table tennis, cricket equipment and basketball. Fresh berrie and veg garden. Gorgeous big bath for kids. Lots of puzzles and things for big kids to do. Milkshake makers, sandwhich makers and pizza oven with fire pit. There would be only one thing i would suggest to improve and that would be instructions for tv inmain lounge. Gorgepus beds and bedding to boot. Felt like a home away from home and locals were lovely."

"The Sorell Barracks' Garden Shed which i stayed in for a night was well equipped, comfortable, secure and warm. The 4 poster double bed was charming. The TV reception was good. The heater worked. The kitchenette was well equipped. There was plenty of hot water for the shower. The front door key was in a key safe on the door, the code to which was txted to me on the day of arrival. I never did see or hear the owners / managers, which felt a bit odd, but I'm sure they were contactable had I needed to. I'd happily stay again, and can recommend the place to all who look for accommodation that is not absolutely stereotypical. "
