"Overall a nice chalet and a great position in the village, perfect for our needs. Nice kitchen and large living area with good size table. Great to have 3 showers and plenty of storage for 8 of us. Plenty of hot water and heating works well throughout. We would suggest an update to lounge/seating area but perhaps some lounge chairs. Village has 3 good resturants and bars are good. Well stocked Sherpa shop with fresh bread and all essentials. We will recommend to others!"

"This is a great apartment in a perfect location to enjoy the skiing in Tignes. Several ski lifts very close by. Slightly compact for 4 but manageable. I’d like to have seen more info available about the area available inside, maybe start a guest book with tips on restaurants, pistes etc. Great stay and we’d happily return. "l’ours Brun is a great chalet in a great location literally a stones throw from 2 lifts. The kitchen was new and really well equipped. Great dining table that can comfortably seat 16. "We had a great week. The chalet is really close to the lifts which take you up to the La plagne ski area but you can also really easily cross to Les arcs. Montchavin is low so I don’t think the nursery slope in front of the chalet is often open but when it is you could ski almost to the door! Village is small but has a few restaurants (including the one run by the host - La bovate- which had delicious food!), small supermarket, bakery and ski hire places - everything you need unless you need...

"We booked our stay from 6-12 April 2017. Please bear in mind that there are no shops near the chalet. The nearest is in Seez or Saint Bourg Maurice which is a good 20 minute drive from the chalet. The owner told us that the nearest lift is 200 metres away but it is 1km and you cannot walk from the chalet to the lift, you have to drive. Also at that time of year and maybe because it hasn't been the best season, you could go up to Les Arcs 2000 via three slow chair lifts which took 30 mins but it...

"We had a fantastic week staying in Giles and Christiane’s chalet just below Les Arcs. The chalet is very well equipped for 8 people with spacious bedrooms, bathrooms and a very nice communal kitchen, dining area and lounge area. The utility room downstairs with washing machine and dryer, plus heated boot rack was an absolute bonus enabling us to have warm and dry boots each day. Communication with Giles and Christiane was very easy and clear and it was nice to meet them on arrival."

The slopes are just behind the block, and Folie is 2mins and an easy ski away. It's not easy to see what the apartment is like in the pics.
