This quintessential forest cabin is an idyllic, romantic getaway for two — whether you’re hiding from your to-do list or seeking adventure on the mountain. Every detail of this sweet, cozy space has been updated and upgraded, while adhering loyally to its classic, vintage cabin roots. Its compact 600 sq. feet (read: it's small) have been designed for comfort. An efficient kitchen offers all the tools you'll need for your cabin-cooked repasts, including a gas range, dishwasher, microwave, toaster oven, and fridge, enhanced by handmade ceramics and quality linens.

The cabin is warmed by a radiant floor heating system and modern Morso woodstove. Wool throws on the couch encourage cozy snuggling by the fire.

The bathroom has heated artisan tile floors and the toilet features a Toto e-washlet. You'll also find a washer/dryer available for your use.

Up the hand-carved staircase, you reach the bedroom with layers of linen sheets, pillows, and blankets enrobing a high quality, queen-sized mattress that might tempt you away from all your plans for outdoor activities.

Entertainment options abound: Urbanears WiFi speakers allow you to stream your favorite music. A select collection of literature and games are on hand. A TV in the bedroom streams movie and news channels via Roku. And there’s reliable and super fast wifi.

Notes: this cabin might not be great for small children and guests with mobility issues. The stairs to the bedroom are open and steep! We leave that to your judgment. We also don’t allow pets.

Adorable Fairytale cottage
This house is so adorable and full of charm! Like a little fairytale cottage tucked in the woods. The location was perfect for our weekend getaway and hiking trip. The communication with the host was excellent! The welcome guide was a great source of info & very much appreciated as 1st time visitors to the area. Highly recommend this listing for couples. The loft stairs can be a challenge if there are mobility issues though.

My wife had to Facetime the entire place to share it with family she liked it so much. I was great for 2 people. Quiet and relaxing setting, fairly close to hiking/outdoors. We would stay again.

Beautiful and serene location
Thia cabin is perfect! Its modern and rustic at the same time with beautiful attention to detail. It feels super cozy and somewhat isolated (there are neighbors close by, but it's very quiet). I loved the feel of seclusion and quiet. I would've loved to retreat there for a month and write a book. Or read a whole library. I want to go back! The restaurants nearby were fair- i would've planned to cook more instead of going out. Hiking in the area is superb, but you have to drive to get to the trails.

This place is absolutely stunning. The attention to detail down to the pottery and shower soap is obvious and pulls the place together in such an impressive way. We stayed here for the first night of our honeymoon and loved every minute of it. I have never experienced such a calm and serene place to decompress. 11/10 place, definitely recommend. -Dylan & Mac

Good for a weekend stay
This is a very quaint and clean cabin in the woods. It is like you are staying in a modern tree house. There is no AC and the heat source is a wood burning stone. It says they have radiant heat but it was not on during our stay so the floors were cold. The biggest negative for us, is there was no privacy. Yes, the cabin is somewhat secluded in the woods, but NONE and I mean NONE of the windows have blinds or curtains, and there are neighbors. If you can see them then someone can see you! There are 2 windows in the bathroom. 1 large picture frame window was actually in the shower so you are very exposed as you shower. Was very disturbing. There are no window coverings on any (of the many) windows in the bedroom. There is no privacy when bathing or getting dress so beware! We visited from the East Coast, so maybe this is how the West Coast rolls! IDK, LOL :-)

Surpassed our expectations
My boyfriend and I stayed at this cabin for our anniversary and it was beyond anything we could have imagined! You can hear the river from the cabin and at night it’s very peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed having our morning coffee and some breakfast. We had even brought sushi one night and forgot to bring chopsticks and our host actually had some! She literally had everything. The walk down to the river was only a couple of minutes and we recommend walking further down alongside it so you can get a little closer to the shore. We didn’t get to use the sauna because we we’re almost never there during the day, but everything was so lovely and cozy. We would love to stay here again some time. Thank you for everything!

Fantastic getaway
This is exactly the type of place I was looking for. Tucked away in a quiet wood and with a river running nearby as a bonus. I spent most of my stay inside because it was quite hot during my visit but also because it was so cozy. I was able to relax due to the wonderful decor but also due to the plentiful amenities. I used the outdoor sauna at least 3 times just because it felt wonderful. I also ventured down the trail along the river for a little hike and it great. The host Rebecca was also very communicative and gave me all the information I needed for my stay. I hindsight I wish I would have stayed longer. But I plan on coming back, maybe when the temperature is slightly cooler so I can take advantage of the wood burning stove.

Perfect getaway!
I had saved this cabin in a favorites list several years ago. When I went to book a last minute anniversary getaway it popped up and just happened to be available the night we wanted to go away. Our stay was amazing. It's not only a cute cabin that feels incredibly restful, the owner has put an incredible amount of work into creating a unique stay for guests. So many details! From handmade pottery dishes, collected books and other decor, and just thinking of everything that would make a stay that much more special. My only complaint is that we couldn't stay longer :) Thankfully we're from the greater local area, so we have the opportunity to stay here again in the future. 1000% would recommend if you're looking for a special place to stay.

Perfect, peaceful getaway
This cabin was something else! From the moment of pulling in the driveway, you anticipate something special. Inside was incredible. The details were amazing. This was a legit cabin hideaway. The structure, the architecture, the shape, the space everything was Beautifully done. The cabin was incredibly clean, which was so appreciated! The host was incredible with communication and was quick and responsive. We had one little hiccup with one of the space heaters upstairs, but there was another one inside the cabin that did great as a back up. The only thing that we can think of that would improve our stay was the sleeping pillows. When we were getting ready to go to bed the first night, we couldn’t figure out where the actual pillows were sleeping were. There were the pretty ones on the bed, but there wasn’t any behind them. We found one tucked away on the bench to the left of the bed, but we could not find any others. We finally realized that maybe two of the ones on the bed that were more like shams were maybe supposed to be for sleeping. It was not the texture of a pillowcase or much of a pillow, but we had to make do with those. That was the only thing that was a little bit off. We would’ve loved to have comfortable pillows to sleep on after a long day of hiking. Everything else was magical and perfection!

phenomenal little cabin, super cozy for 2. rustic cabin feel with amazing amenities. absolutely loved the fact that you are essentially feel you are in the forest and the sounds of the near by river was so soothing. this was the perfect retreat to unplug and recharge. loved the fire place, fire pit and the property even had a sauna - 10/10!!

We went here for our honeymoon and the experience was wonderful!! Such a cozy and secluded space. The hostess had thought of so many small details to welcome us and make the stay memorable. The cabin itself was so beautifully furnished. I couldn't get over the amazing details. Everything was so well chosen and artistic, exactly suited to fit the atmosphere of the place. I can only encourage you to go and see for yourself. It is truly unbelievable!
