Staff vacuumed while I was eating the very limited breakfast they had. Staff was eating more than the hotel customers. No bars of soap. Pool was in the shade and small. Wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

Check-in was easy and the front desk staff were courteous and friendly. Also enjoyed the breakfast. It was small but had enough options and replenished often. I do think that it is time to start upgrading/renovating the rooms with a fresher look (especially new carpet and linen). The sheets on our beds were badly stained. If the sheets are stained, get rid of them. The bathrooms could be upgraded and a little cleaner. Our TV didn’t work and after a couple of calls they changed our room. Although I appreciated being able to workout in the gym, it too could’ve been a little cleaner. I think a little more attention to detail and some renovations would’ve made a huge difference.

Odd experience
We waited at the front for over 5 minutes while no one was around to help. The maintenance staff eventually went looking for the front desk clerk who was in the bathroom the whole time. After finding our room the door was open, so we assumed someone was staying in it. Apparently, the cleaning people left the door open. But even if it was full, it didn't appear the front desk was going to be able to accommodate us to another room. Sunday morning breakfast was late because the cook was a no show. We were there for a baseball tournament and a lot of families were waiting to eat before we left. They did their best to get food out. I believe a manager came in to cook but the front desk guy said he had no idea how to start breakfast. They should probably be a little crossed trained if these things were to happen but also the manager should know when the cook isn't there on time so they can make sure they are able to get in asap. Everyone was nice, just very unorganized.
