Overall the hotel building was good and modern but the rooms were kinda old. There were around three options for eating, hotel’s restaurant, starbucks, and chick fil a. It was around 10 miles to RIC airport.

Had a nice stay. After a long drive we rolled in at 1am, Kevin greeted us, gave us the lay of the land, assigned the room and gave us a complimentary coffee to Starbucks for the morning. We felt welcome. The only draw back was at 8am hearing the cleaning crews conversations in the hall way as they turned the rooms. I would recommend this Omni. I’ve stayed at a few hotels in Richmond and this one has their stuff together.

The Omni is consistent in providing clean and beautiful rooms and this time did not disappoint. Valet parking made life a lot easier, as this hotel is in the city. Staff was friendly and check in and out was easy. I appreciated being able to text with the hotel prior to our stay and they were extremely accommodating and friendly during this interaction. When there is availability, this will be top of the list for places to stay in Richmond, VA.

The day that we arrived, the valet parking service was not quite as smooth as we would have expected. The app worked well -- when we came down for our car, it took a little while for the person with the fab to our car to catch up with us -- just seemed a little disconnected and not as customer oriented as the outstanding service that we had at the front desk. Note, we have no idea how many things they might have been juggling with cars at that point in time, and we were heading to a wedding which likely heightened our sensitivity to timeliness. We would certainly stay at this property again.
