"Das Stellwerk wurde originell umgebaut. Ich würde es als eine grosse Loftwohnung bezeichnen. Die Unterkunft hat einen privatem aussen Bereich. Im Eingangsbereich ist ein sehr kleines Gäste WC. Vom Entree führt eine Treppe nach unten in den Wohnraum mit Kaminofen. Die Decke ist sehr hoch und somit befindet sich dort noch eine Galerie mit einem Doppelbett. "I like these apartments, they are an easy walk from the station. They are simple but smartly done. The sound proofing on the windows is excellent and if you are in a room at the front of the building you need it. The TV reception is a bit sketchy for the foreign channels but the WiFi is good enough to watch things on your own devices. "

"The property and rooms were very nice, clean and spacious. Breakfast is not available but a ahort ride into town iffers several options for eating. Keep in mind that there is not an elevator and it seems that the rooms are on higher levels. Overall I would recommend staying here as it is secure and a lovely place."

"This property has to offer one of the most relaxing holidays you could ever hope for. It is ideally situated for visiting The Black Forest, Switzerland and the Alsace Wine Route. The rail and bus connections from Schopfheim are excellent and reasonably priced and the town is friendly and charming. "We stayed in the apartment for 10 days and had a lovely time. The place is actually better than the pictures. Nice kitchen, good bathroom, bed were good enough (although might need replacing some tome soon). The balcony is lovely in the morning for breakfast amd the garden is great for drinks and lazing around. Swimming in the lake is great! The only down side was the neighbours macross the road making a noise."

"Eine sehr schöne, modern eingerichtete Wohnung mit allem, was man benötigt. Schlafzimmer und Wohn-Esszimmer großzügig angelegt, Küche und Bad kuschelig aber vollkommen ausreichend. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin hat problemlos auch kurzfristig geklappt, eine Anreise außerhalb der Geschäftszeiten ging ohne Probleme. Parkmöglichkeiten vor der Unterkunft ideal. Wir können diese Unterkunft sehr empfehlen. "

Not only it’s very central, they provide you with free public transport for your stay (apparently a lot of hotels in Basel do this), their service was warm and friendly, they provide you with bottles of still and sparkling water! "We were warmly welcomed and provided with excellent information about the hotel, dining options and a Basel Travel card to use on all public transport. Reception staff were excellent. Public transport stops are located close by the hotel as is old town, which is an easy walk. Hotel rooms were a great size with very good amenities. The restaurant on site provides an excellent breakfast at a reasonable price. I highly recommend this Hotel."

"One of the best Pullman hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Really nice hotel in a great location

"It's in great location, walkable from the main train station and also walkable to the main touristy/restaurant area of the city. The room we had was huge, more like a small apartment. Everything was in great condition and checkin was super easy. Having the free bus pass was very handy, as it meant we could make our way back to the airport at no extra charge (you need bus 50 to get to the airport, it stops just on the left hand side (as you are walking out) of the main entrance to the SBB station. The only slight negative is the room felt quite warm, which was the case for all of the hotels we stayed in in Switzerland. We had air con but turning that down didn't make too much of a difference. But I would say this is a great place to stay if visiting Basel or even if you are just transiting through e.g. making your way to or from the mountains. "
