"Beautiful place with an outstanding view across the lake and a very nice pool area. We enjoyed the birds attracted to the flowers planted everywhere. The unit was spacious and very pleasant with a sitting area outside. The only downside was that we did not enjoy the hotel's lunch and dinner service but the cook may change and there are close-by alternatives. "

"I liked the friendly staff and the amazing views of Lake Arenal from the dining area. The restaurant features 8 different artisanal beers that are brewed on the property. The pool is a decent size for swimming and the hot tub grotta felt very relaxing. The hotel also features fun games including pool billard etc. and other amenities. Overall a fun and relaxing experience."

"We stayed in the dome tent and it was amazing! We had a beautiful view when we woke up in the morning. There were showers and a mini fridge available too. The food at the ranch is amazing! The cook is wonderful. The jacuzi, pool, and animals were also a great add on to a wonderful stay!"

"The location of Sangregado was fantastic! Located right across from Mistico, but so intimate. Our casita had incredible views of Arenal Volcano. We had a wonderful stay from start to finish."

"Our stay at this home was amazing. Patrick, the host, made it so easy. He scheduled a car to pick all 15 of us up from the airport and had a delicious Costa Rican dinner ready. All the food that was made for us was delicious! He gave us suggestions for excursions and booked anything that needed reservations. The house is beautiful with so many unique details. The views of the lake are breathtaking. The house was very clean. The pool and hot tub were great to go in after a long day of traveling. Looking back at the trip we would have spent longer here than the resort we went to afterwards. "

"You can't get any closer to the hike for Rio Celeste and it is so much better tonight hike first thing in the morning before it gets too crowded and the animals are all still out! This place was so charming and simple. The staff are beyond hospitable and it feels like you are a guest of a family. The restaurant on site is very good and open until 8pm. We loved this stay and are so glad we booked it. The single beds creak a bit but we slept well anyway Breakfast was really good and the sausage was delicious!!! If you want an authentic experience, to see red eyed tree frogs at night and are open to off the beaten path this place was an incredible find at a great value. There is also a shop and another restaurant on the same little road, along with mountain bike rentals. Side note... If you get offered a guide to the waterfall it will be worth every penny! We did this upon arrival and are so glad we did "
