This was by far the worse experience I ever had. From the deity walls, mirror and shower to the bedding and even shade lamps - mattress and pillows with dirty stains, the rudest staff I ever met to the point of the hotel manager trying to gaslight me to the fact that my son didn’t get a tollway bed despite being advertised that way. The room was supposed to accommodate 4 and only did 2. I had a broken fridge and had to literally argue to get moved to a different room where it was downgraded version to my room and was juts lightly cleaner. I was juts so exhausted by then I simply didn’t have any more energy to advocate for us. The hotels are not equipped for our blow dryers etc and they do not give you adapters they sell for $50 8 times the price down the street. Is price gauging around the corner for a place that feels at the most a two start/ hotel. It’s very sad to see this property let go this way. I would like a refund or credit because this hotel should not be in Expedia - it doesn’t meet its standards. I tried red the photos and it is simply not that. I have photos to prove.

I know the location well and its great. When we got to our room, it had minimal furnishings which is ok. They told us only one key per room even though we were 2 guests. The shower handle was broken, so they moved us to another room, said it was an upgrade. It wasn't an upgrade and it didn't have a balcony. The shower was a tub with dirty broken grout. The pool is great. In summary i hope they can get this great property in better shape.

It's an old hotel, the furniture, the beds, the TVs too. They wouldn't clean if you didn't ask for it. I didn't like it and I wouldn't go back.

If you like mold and lack of health, you can stay here. We tried two different rooms and both had lots of mold. Room was also rundown. After we checked in, we saw mold in the room. Had a wait a few hours for another room to be cleaned. It had worse mold by the bed. We had to leave and find another hotel. Ended up staying at a Windsor hotel. Windsor is Wonderful.

Not doing any cleaning in room. I've ask for towels 3 time, and none of them they send any towels. The rooms are very old, and not clean. the bathroom is very old even in the Master King room. a hotel that stay in the 80's, very old. the swimming pool renovated last year is the only good thing in this hotel.

Falta de mantenimiento y Servicio poco eficiente
El hotel es hermoso pero esta falto de mantenimiento y el servicio del personal no es eficiente, posiblemente por problemas de coordinacion. Asi mismo falta mantenimiento en las habitaciones y escasea la ropa blanca de reposición. Siempre la mejor predisposición .

The furniture and appliance of this property was very old and inactive conditions. I was disappointed with the reception staff. Also, they allocated on first and second floor and I was not even told that I have reserve only on first and second floor, they were asking me for huge money difference to shift me on higher floors. They even wasted my few hours. The location of the property is very good, exterior look is also very good, morning breakfast staff was also friendly but reception staff were horrible. I do not recommend going there again.

My wife and I had reservations from March 19-21st at Wyndham Rio Barra. I paid 238.21 plus a fee for using the pool/beach. The issue was with check-in. We arrived at the hotel at 1:30pm. We understood we were early. We did a precheck in and was told to return at 3pm and the room would be ready and we’d get the room keys. We go eat and return at 3:30pm. We’re told by the front desk the room is not ready yet. We’re asked to sit in the lobby and the room would be ready in about 10 mins. I asked if there was another room they could put us in? The response was “we can’t put you in a different room. Naturally I’m a bit annoyed. So I asked if they would be discounting the room at all since it was not ready? They said a manager would need to approve that and they were unavailable for the next 30-40 mins. So we are asked again to sit and wait in the lobby. I asked the front desk to let the manager know I was not happy with the checkin process and wanted to them also to inquire about the discount. Another 15-20 mins pass and I return again to ask about any update. The room was still not ready. Finally about 5 mins later were called over to the front desk and were given our keys. Over an hour had passed from the original checkin time of 3pm. I asked the staff what the manager said about discounting the room for the checkin inconveinence and here is what I was told the manager said…”checkin starts at 3pm and there was nothing they could do.” Terrible mgmt. Stay elsewhere.
