"This house and property were HUGE, with great views of the volcano and surrounding area, and had room for everyone in my large group! It was fun and quirky and just right. "The property is absolutely stunning! There is wildlife galore on the property and you feel like you’re in the middle of the rainforest. "It was a great place to stay. The size was perfect for 5 adults and 2 children. The only thing I would caution is there is only one room with an AC, and from what we found only one fan. "We were there for just a one night stay. Clean and all we needed to crash after a long day! There’s a beautiful view of the lake and a nice yard as well. "This place was the perfect past leg of our stay! A little more secluded and peaceful than Fortuna. I higly recommend. With just a couple notes. The portable AC unit isn’t really suffient to cool the house during the day. That being said, if you’re venturing out for day adventures this is perfect! "Bret and his crew were awesome people, friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The property is wonderful, we hiked it almost everyday following the many trails and finding plateaus with amazing views of Lake Arenal. Sitting on the patio having a favourite beverage, we listened to howler monkeys, saw white faced monkeys, and many species of birds including parrots and toucans. "What an amazing place! The rooms are open with big windows and lovely views and Mellisa has thought of everything to make the room amenable.
