"Emmanuelle was a great host! We were greeted upon our arrival with a wonderful welcome basket with lots of eggs, tomatoes, wine, etc….Very peaceful countryside setting. Absolutely perfect swimming pool. And in these excessively hot temperatures, the air conditioning was very very welcome! Spacious and comfortable with 2 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet, calm countryside, setting close to the beautiful little village of Simorre!"

"We enjoyed hot, sunny, cloudless days and made good use of the shady parts of the garden which affords total privacy and looks out over a reservoir. The property is fairly remote, with no shops or restaurants within easy walking distance so a car is essential. Accommodation is not as spacious as it seems on the website but it was fine for two of us and there is obviously work still going on to renovate other parts of the building. Decor is stylish and the kitchen is well-equipped."

"The Chateau was very beautiful and was even more than we could wish for. The hostess Anki was very warm, helpfull and welcoming. She helped with all of our questions and we could always give her a call. The view from the pool was stunning and despite our age differences (1,5 - 80 years), all of us had an equally amazing stay. We definately would recommed Chateau Labusquiere to everyone who wants to see the south of France!"

"Well built and located property. @40km from heart of Pyrénées on a hill top that gives you breathtaking views from the south facing property with decent sized pool. Lovely hosts explained well on how to operate the house. It’s ideal if you don’t mind driving a bit into the hot spots of lac d’ooh; Loudenvielle, Cagire loop, Cirque de Gavarnie, Louchon, Cauteret. ...et al ....most of them are about 60-90 min drive and at least the second half of the drive is beautiful through the mountains. "A very well-appointed property which catered very well for our extended family of 9, ages ranging from 1 to 75. There was ample space for us not to be under each others' feet and enough bathrooms for each family (and a teenage granddaughter!). The outdoor facilities were excellent including the summer kitchen/ barbecue area, the variety of games equipment and (especially) the fabulous swimming pool.There is ample shade around the property for those extremely hot southern French days.Access to the mountains is very easy and they can be seen clearly from the surrounding area.The hosts, Mary-Jo and John are excellent and helpful without being intrusive.As a very rural area car is, of course essential, and shops are a 1- - 15 minute drive away; the baker in St Marcet is, however, worth the morning drive for excellent bread and pastries!.We strongly recommend Chateau Floran"
