"The property is amazing, loads of space for 4 adults, comfortable and the views are fantastic. The pool was wonderful and Mirko (the property manager) was friendly and helpful. We didn’t have hot water in one of the showers at first, but he fixed the issue relatively quickly. The only downside is the track to the house. It is steep and very bumpy. We were aware of this but even so, the drive was not for the faint hearted!"

"We had a great week at Casa Tolomei. The house retains its traditional historic feel though benefits from an updated kitchen and bathrooms. We stayed during a particularly hot week so it was great to have the new pool to keep cool! The family really enjoyed the space of having ante-rooms to their bedrooms too. It was a difficult to find the property on arrival despite the instructions provided, these could have more detailed and an accompanying map would have been helpful.We ended up parking our car in the village for the week as the narrow and steep road up to the property was challenging."

"The small house is in a secluded spot with fantastic views of Castiglione and the mountains, both from the terrace as well as the bedroom. The outdoor pool and jacuzzi were a really nice addition. The owners welcomed us with traditional food and wine, which was very unexpected but very welcome when we arrived in the late afternoon. They also provided us with a lot of recommendations regarding both restaurants and fun things to do in the area. We highly recommend the house and plan to be back. "
