Chez Polythe is a gîte set up in the old barn of the owner's grandparents, Joséphine and Hippolyte.

Restored using local materials, the house has a spacious and welcoming volume. One of the 2 bay windows offers a clear view of the Mézenc and Gerbier de Jonc mountains.

Nearby: inn in the village, leisure centers in Lavalette (28 km) and Devesset (30 km), greenway 6 km away, Dunières (vélorail and tourist train) 14 km away. Small shops in Riotord (6 km), all shops and services in Montfaucon-en-Velay (18 km). Gourmet restaurants in St-Bonnet-le-Froid (15 km). On the ground floor of the house, you will find the kitchen at the entrance, opening onto a beautiful living room of 40m² with lounge, dining room (TV, fireplace stove). Available: 2 bedrooms (1 bed 160, 1 bed 140), shower room, toilet.

Taking this large staircase, you arrive on a footbridge serving an attic bedroom (3 beds 90) and another attic bedroom (1 bed 140), a bathroom with bathtub and a separate toilet.

Grassed grounds of 300 m², parking adjoining the cottage, play area with swings, slide, ladders and rings.

Baby equipment: travel cot, high chair, bathtub.

Le gîte est à 6 km du village et du commerce le plus proche. En ce qui concerne les équipements, le four dysfonctionnait et l’éclairage général du gîte est insuffisant. L’installation mériterait une remise à jour. La pièce à vivre est chaleureuse, spacieuse et les baies vitrées sympas. Les chambres sont spacieuses. Sdb correctes, sans plus. Pas profité de la terrasse dont le mobilier est vétuste. Nous avons loué souvent des gîtes dont les propriétaires soignaient l’accueil avec un pot de confiture, des fruits ou une bouteille. Pas là.
