"Friendly and helpful staff, lovely buffet style breakfast with a good variety of juices, fruit and hot breakfast. Comfortable room with a nice, comfy bed too."
"Great comfortable large room and amazing buffet breakfast which is well worth it. My air conditioning did make some loud strange noises and there was no garbage bin in the kitchen which was odd but other than that a very comfortable stay. Good gym facility too."
"The hotel was very clean and good location too.
Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was really nice with variety of food and drinks.
The only thing I didn’t like was the heating, it made a loud noise, It didn’t let us sleep."
"Nice hotel with comfortable room, cheap TV though! Heating was broken and altough this was reported and I was advised it would be fixed it wasnt! I was offered a change of room when I reported the issue but it wasn't unbearably cold fortunately so I said it would be fine as long as it was fixed on the second day of my stay but it wasn't!"
"Second time I’ve stayed here.
Rooms are a good size and clean with a decent size tv, bathroom and showers are good.
Staff friendly, love the 2pm check in time
Not a far walk from the trainstation which is handy if you have an early train the next day. "
"I always stay at Motel one when I am in Manchester and they always provide a friendly service with great hotel rooms. Overall would highly recommend a stay here. "
"Was within 10 minutes walk of Victoria station.
Whole apartment complex was well equipped, tidy, clean and had everything you could want from a studio apartment/hotel.
Will definitely recommend and will be using again."
"Unlike other hotels the Velvet lives up to expectations and delivers what it promises. We were met by a great host and given a glass of Prosecco on check in. One of our rooms wasn’t quite what we expected but we were quickly moved to another room which exceeded expectations and our stay was amazing. We would recommend and so would our friends who we booked the other room for. Great value for money and fabulous rooms! "
"The hotel upgraded my room when they saw my guest was in a wheelchair. I liked the fact they had a hoist, even though we didn't use it. We will definitely stay there again when we are visiting our friend in the wheelchair. I would have eaten in the restaurant but the meal choices were limited to chips and burgers."
"Hotels lovely, staff really attentive and polite. We had one of the smaller cosy rooms, really nice set up. Only negative, and a bit of a pet peeve of mine, is when you’re paying £200 a night, charging for water is a bit unnecessary to me, come on guys. "
