"Not friendly towards international guests, the beds were very uncomfortable and the area is very noisy until very late at night, sometimes until 2am. The wardrobe was falling apart and the hooks for the towels in the bathroom fell since they weren't fixed properly on the door. The AC in the hallway was leaking for the 2 weeks I stayed there, right in front of my door. Also, there is a 10€ fee per day to use it in the room. "Grand Hotel San Marino is just outside the main wall of the city what make is possible to be able to park but you are still a few steps from the main entrance. Beautiful view from the room and restaurant associated with the hotel is one of the best ones in town."

"The property is located in the historic center of San Marino. It’s quite an uphill climb, so those with mobility issues might consider elsewhere. Otherwise, the bathroom was excellent, and the hotel was clean. I forgot a Bluetooth speaker in my room, and the staff called me within 5 minutes and met me at the gate to the center, so I didn’t have to drag my luggage back up the hills. Excellent service. "

"My wife and I didn't make it to the hotel until after midnight. I felt bad that the hotel tried to reach out to me beforehand, to know what time I may arrive, but I was in the mountains and didn't see the message until we arrived at the hotel. "Great location right off the main drag through town and only 2 blocks walk to the beach. The staff was super friendly, from check-in to answering all questions and assisting with calling a taxi. There are many activities near by. The room was very clean, the bed was fairly comfortable. Breakfast was included and was buffet style, full American and European breakfast. It was the best I had in Italy. The rooftop pool and spa was a big bonus. Overall a great hotel for the price."
