We had a week's stay in a 2 bedroom lockout through a vacation club booking, and called 2x to get kitchen supplies...nada, We needed 1 more night. Front desk said they were fully booked but Expedia had rooms so we booked a 1 bedroom and stayed in the A side of same lockout, therefore saved them a cleaning. We paid the resort fee online and Front desk tried to collect it again, but accepted an email from Expedia. The cleaner came at noon, and we told him we were stay another day, so he left , not cleaning the B side for some reason . At 6:45 pm the cleaners came banging on the door, completely shocked when we answered and didn't speak English so put me on a Skype call with a man, so i could explain we were staying A.This ordeal went on for 20 minutes, ruining our dinner. They proceeded to bang around next door, screaming and yapping so loud , smashing the vacuum into walls..we couldn't hear our tv This went on for 4 hours. The next morning we asked for a late checkout and were told the resort was fully booked. This is a timeshare. All checkins are Fri Sat Sun. This was Monday. And once again, Expedia and other sites had tons of rooms. We checked out at 10, and nobody was around the property, no cleaners, no new guests. Place has gone down since sold to Vacatia. Jets only worked properly at one pool spa (building16/17). Housekeeping didn't show up after 2 calls during our full week stay, and then destroyed our evening on our 1 full priced Sunday stay with Expedia.

We've stayed at Westgate Properties before and have always had an amazing stay, but unfortunately this particular stay was far from that. First, I arrived at the Resort about 10:30pm to find a line literally wrap around the building, I was told the wait time was about 2.5 hours, that's worse than Disney. Second, the wife arrived around 3am from a 10 hour drive, there was no parking near the building, so she parked out of the way near the curb. Only to find the car tagged for towing for lack of a parking permit. Third, we went to the Ship Wreck water park, tried to order pizza to have delivered pool side as the WGR APP suggests, but to no avail. No one knew the process of ordering the pizza, and after being transferred to several others we were told the pizza parlor doesn't open until 5 and the pool closes at 6pm. Lastly, we were going to finish out the vacation with dinner at Villa Italiano Chophouse, but to our finding after walking there and several other families, they only take reservations, and there was no more that night. The restaurant was only about 1/3 full. Later was informed there was also a dress code.

Second time staying here and again I absolutely love it. It’s like staying at the caribe royale at half the price this time being invited to breakfast/tour/etc only to be disinvited immediately was a little insulting and not the best way to start my trip at check in but like my wife said “you’d would have eaten the breakfast grab $100 and then faked a illness and snuck to the pool.
