"Very French, lovely setting and full of 'antique' toys and charm. A bit of a hike to carry stuff from the car to the property as front gates permanently locked - across the large garden and up stairs. We didn't realise that sheets, quilt cover and towels weren't provided, but fortunately we carry our own lightweight bedding - and Mr Sabatier fetched us towels. Nothing in Angerville-la-Martel, but we were focused on Fecamp and Etretat nearby, so it was fine for 3nights."

"Plenty of room, beds comfortable, kitchen well equipped. Overall the properties decoration was a little tired but did not detract from the comfort. The bathrooms and kitchen were very clean, my mum did find dust in the cupboard in her room but I think most people don't use the cupboards. Overall a beautiful property at a very reasonable price, literally 5 minutes walk from a little beach. If your after a peaceful get away it's perfect."

"This house was a great size and it was pretty clean, but there was a musty smell and one of the couches was in bad shape. There was no washing machine sadly. It was a good size house and it was five minutes from a large grocery store and laundromat, and 15-20 minutes walk to the restaurants."

"Overall, this was a good Gite to spend a week in Normandy. It was well equipped, comfortable for a four person stay, and close to the coast for visits to lovely towns and beaches. A good bus service runs hourly down to Le Havre and also further up the coast. The local village is only a few minutes walk away and has a mini market, hotel and restaurant. "I had a fantastic 8 days in Étretat staying at the Royal Tennis. Isabelle was there when I arrived and helped me to settle in. The apartment was outfitted like a small efficiency unit with everything I needed. Best of all, it is only a very shot 400m walk to Downtown and far enough away that (except for the herring gulls) it was very quiet at night."

"I will get negatives out of the way first, the listing says this is a working dairy farm however there is just a few cows and one pig. The grandchildren were looking forward to learning and watching milking etc but there was no opportunity to do this. "A very friendly and helpful host who set us up andade us feel very welcome. The house itself is well set up and is a great space for a family. It's a town house and faces a fairly busy road, but it's close to the seafront and we weren't aware of passing traffic once inside. It was a very rainy week so we didn't use the courtyard much but it look like a pleasant space for outdoor eating. Altogether a great town house over several floors."
