Peaceful property, centrally located! Just 12 miles to the dragon, 1 mile from the Cheoah River Put In, walking distance from the Swinging bridge (that crosses Cheoah River), Santeetlah lake, Joyce Kilmer, the historic Tapoco lodge, and Cherohala Skyway. Kayaking, swimming, and hiking are close for all of your outdoor adventures! Drive way is currently gravel, it is not paved. Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

Quiet location near Tapoco lodge and dragon
Wonderful property away from neighbors or road traffic set up in the mountain. Very comfortable and clean. Guests will have no problem if they are traveling by AWD vehicles. If pulling trailers or riding motorcycles take the owner’s offer of leaving those at her other property 1/2 mile away as you come into the development. The final portion of the driveway is super difficult and steep/uneven. The owner will respond immediately with any concerns and will make fast arrangements to remedy any problems that may occur.

Beautiful Streamside Mountain Cabin
This is a beautiful, well kept and excellently decorated cabin by a stream in the mountains of western North Carolina, near the Joyce Kilmer Memorial Forest, Cherohala Skyway, Tail of the Dragon, and Fontana resort.

This is a beautifully decorated cabin in great condition on a quiet country property. We hiked to the nearby suspension bridge for hikers in US-129, and we walked alongside the Cheoah river during a periodic dam release enjoyed by whitewater kayakers. We also enjoyed a scenic drive on the nearby Cherohala Skyway. This is a gorgeous rental property in a great location!

Beautiful, remote getaway in the mountains!
Girlfriend and I had an absolute blast! The house is clean and has EVERYTHING you need! Newly remodeled and has everything you could ever want! Easy to communicate with the owners. Didn’t want for a thing! I’ll be going back to ride the Tail of the Dragon again next summer! RECOMMEND!

Peaceful, convenient accommodation
The house is very comfortably furnished, spacious, well provisioned and clean. The outside deck is a great place to sit - enjoyed the sound of rushing water and the sight of fireflies at dusk. It is in a quiet location yet close to Lake Santeetlah boat ramps and to many fishing spots along the river as well as to Robbinsille. Communication with the hosts was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great Getaway cute and updated
We really enjoyed the peace and quiet that came along with staying at the house. We could hear the River which was very nice and calming. The dirt road to get to the house was quite rough but other than that it was great. Owners very helpful and answered questions quickly.
