The Ridge Haven at Yellow Creek has two bedrooms each with a bathroom on separate floors include linens, towels and blankets.
The first floor bedroom has the beautiful log king bed with direct access to the bathroom that has two sinks with a combo tub & shower. The bath also has access from the hallway that goes out to the kitchen and great room. The laundry room is off from the same hallway.
The 2nd floor bedroom has two twin beds and a twin roll-a-way bed with two closets, two chairs and a dresser. The room has sliding glass doors that open to a balcony with two chairs.
The second floor bathroom has a shower/tub combo with glass doors, toilet and one sink. Provided amenities include bath soap made by the Wehrloom Honey located in Robbinsville, liquid hand soap, basic shampoo and toilet paper. Hair dyers and one make-up mirror are located in the bath vanities.
The square footage of the living space for the entire cabin is 1,586'. The Great room has a cathedral ceiling, two sets of sliding glass doors and majestic windows facing Yellow Mountains, a stone (wood burning) fireplace with a 52" Smart TV. Firewood is available for purchase at Ingel's or Ace Hardware. There a an unlimited amount of channels including music and sports on the TV.
The fully equipped kitchen has a microwave oven, dishwasher, Keurig K-Duo Essentials Single Serve & Carafe Coffee Maker (we got the paper filters),a crock pot, toaster, blender with cooking, baking and grilling utensils provided including all the plastic and paper products that are generally used in the kitchen. The bar counter seats two people and the dining table seats six people.
A gas-grill is available for your outdoor grilling along with a patio table for four people plus a bistro table for two people and two rocking chairs that sit in front of the water fountain. The covered porch, deck and balcony is a total area of 876'.
A laundry room with new washer & dryer, ironing board & iron is located off from the hallway on the first floor.
Internet access & cell phone service is available through fiber optic service and is very fast and reliable.
Mini-splits are provided in both bedrooms and great room for air-conditioning & heat plus ceiling fans in all rooms.
Two pets are welcome with the pet fee.
Two additional cabins are also available on the same mountain within 150' apart located on the same private road. Please see the Mountain Retreat at Yellow Creek at vrbo#345053 (sleeps 4) and the Le Chalet at Yellow Creek #2090059 (sleeps 4) for extended family or friend gatherings.
All the cabins have easy access located on a private road with the steepest portion constructed of brushed concrete and the remaining is asphalt, a hiking trail is on the property plus circle around Arthur's Circle and trout fishing available in Yellow Creek (Fishing permits can be purchased at Ace Hardware).
Note for Bikers: Although our road is concrete & asphalt it is somewhat steep (approximately14 degrees for about 100' or more). Therefore, it may not be suitable for novice bike riders although we have had dozens of bikers over the years and it appears to be no problem with or without an extra rider.
Please note that the Town of Robbinsville or Bryson City are about 30 minutes from the cabin.
