Whispering Pines
The house was amazing, me and a few friends stayed for a little bit under a week to go drive on Tail of the Dragon. Only thing that was of slight concern was the driveway but once you drive up it once it’s not an issue. I noticed one comment mentioning the Wi-Fi was spotty - the house now has StarLink and the internet was great! Overall the house is very nice and clean. If Whispering Pines is still available when we plan to go back we will 100% be staying here! Highly recommend.

Peaceful getaway in at whispering pines
This was one of the best rentals I have ever stayed in. The home was spacious, well designed and very very clean. It was so well stocked! The kitchen had everything you need to feel at home and to have home cooked food during your stay. There were plenty of pots and pans, silverware, cups and glasses. I was also impressed the availability of simple staples like flour, sugar, cooking oil, salt and pepper. The downstairs area was so well set up for a group of people to enjoy time together with several puzzles, lots of card games and even a set of corn hole boards, which came in handy on a very rainy Sunday when the WiFi became a little spotty. Directions for check out were very clear and very reasonable. I didn’t love having to take our trash to the dump at the end of our stay, and I actually couldn’t find the dump site so I just brought it home with me, but in the grand scheme of things it didn’t damage the experience at all. 10/10 would recommend this property and would stay here again.

Clean house, gorgeous views, can’t beat it.
As the title says, the house was clean! It was also well-stocked with all the amenities needed for our stay. The kitchen has everything you could ask for, don’t be afraid to stop at Ingles down the road and cook for yourself! The views from the house are gorgeous as is the surrounding area. The only downside is the internet speed, but I can’t fault that too much given the remote location. But if you have cellular service, even just a bar or two like we did, you’ll likely get better service through that rather than WiFi, just a heads up. Overall, excellent experience and we are planning on using this property again for future stays!

Spring Vacation
It's a great property! Very nicely appointed and all very new. I recommend this place heartily! The property managers were very helpful. Great location for the Dragon and the Cherohala. If you're on bikes, there is a bit of gravel and a steep bit of driveway -- not a problem if you're an experienced rider; maybe a little sketchy if you're not. The internet connection was painfully slow, not suitable for streaming much of anything. But if you're just sitting around looking at the internet, then you should just stay home anyway. It's definitely a place worth returning to.
