Nice house in a nice neighborhood

My family of six stayed in the Autumn Maple House over Thanksgiving weekend in 2024. The house was clean and well furnished. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. Communication with the manager was quick. It was exactly what we needed for a visit to the area.

Large and spacious

We didn’t take advantage of most of this house/deck/yard, but it worked for us. The initial impression is not inviting as it is a large room with very minimal furniture. All of the common areas are just a little sparse. (Lots of run around room for kids?) and some of the furnishings felt temporary (folding table in the kitchen) So not all the comforts of home, but served our purpose just fine.

Great family trip

The Autumn Maple house was great! The kids loved the spa shower. We had easy and quick access to all the local places we wanted to visit. The home had everything we needed including a grill and plenty of space! Our host was responsive and wonderful. Thanks for a great stay in Henrietta!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Autumn House.. quiet, safe neighborhood with nice surrounding neighbors. We will definitely reserve the Autumn House for all of our future stays in Rochester! My kids absolutely loved the spa shower!

Ha our host was wonderful at answering all my questions and quick to respond. House was good for our needs and the shower took a little getting used to, but was quite interesting and to talk about. Great weekend spent with my daughter who lives in Rochester and a close family friend.

Still Wonderful

This property remains in great shape and is still a top-notch place to stay while visiting the Rochester area. The owner is always responsive whether before, during and after the stay - and clearly takes pride in making her property the kind of place you want to return to regularly (as we have done over the past few years). Great location, quiet neighborhood, and a fully stocked kitchen, combine with with very comfortable beds and plenty of room to relax. Just a wonderful rental.

Great location

The property was great for our needs. The neighborhood was beautiful and quiet. The house had all of the necessary appliances and was very spacious. The only things needed were a few more towels and maybe a small dresser in each bedroom to store our clothes and put items on top of. If we are ever in the area, we would definitely stay here again.

Quick stay in Rochester area.

The property was very and beds were very comfortable and relaxing. The property was easy to find and in a safe neighborhood. My only complaint is it would be nice to have some dressers to unpack. I always feel more comfortable when not living out of my suitcase.

Amazing Stay!!!

If you are on the fence about staying here, this is your sign to book! She has thought of most everything for a stay! I really felt like I was in a 2nd home. Nice quiet neighborhood, huge yard! We even met the sweet neighbors that offered our kids a little kiddy pool! We saw deer just strolling through the yard one evening also! The back room was nice and open so the kids had a "kids" area. The front living room has huge beautiful windows!! The beds are VERY comfortable too! After this stay we are talking about coming back every year or few years and will DEFINITELY be staying in this house again if we do!!

Fantastic stay!

The house was exactly as advertised. We moved my twins to their new Apts on campus for Yr 2 at RIT and stayed at the Autumn house during our visit. 1st, the house was exactly as advertised. 2nd, I can't believe how AMAZINGLY COMFORTABLE the beds were. I looked forward to going to sleep ea night. the neighborhood was lovely, safe & quiet. The house was clean and had all the amenities. There is a nice outdoor deck but we didn't have time to enjoy with busy schedule. the house is close to everything & You have to visit Pittsord Village on ur visit- shops, Pittsford Farms Ice cream and Erie Canal boat rides are a gem in the area!

A Spectacular Property

Exactly as described in the listing, this house is centrally located and a truly comfortable place to stay. It has a minimalist-modern feel, is sparkling clean and has all the little amenities in place, whether you've a need to cook, relax on the deck or in front of the tv, enjoy the spa shower, get a good night's sleep or just experience a combination of each. The beds are comfortable and the 3-bedroom/1-1/2 bath layout of the house lent itself to our family's needs. The neighborhood is quiet and the house sits on a very nice oversized-lot. The owner is not only responsive but clearly cares about making her guests feel comfortable. All in all, it's a spectacular property and if it is available in the future, we will be renting it again.

Very quiet, lots of space, could use some upgrades.

This is a very quiet home and I have never stayed in a place that provided things like stacks of dinner napkins and oodles of toilet paper and so many table and floor lamps. There was more than adequate soap, shampoo and dish liquid. The kitchen truly has enough dishes unlike places I've stayed with four place settings. Those things really make a difference. The owner could give some thought to improving some of the furniture - the beds are comfortable and so are the couches. And there were nightstands with lamps - thank you! The dining table and padded bench are very stable. But the dining chairs and the table in the kitchen have broken or very loose/unusable legs. I'd also suggest leaving a few lightbulbs, more than three bath and one kitchen towel and cleaning out the kitchen and bathroom cabinets. I like having some packaged sugar, salt and pepper and wrapped teas etc provided. But multiple salad dressings, a huge jar of mayo, ketchups, open sugar in the cabinet and numerous semi-used hair products in the bathroom should be removed. The bathroom and kitchen drawers also were not clean (hair/debris in bathroom drawer and crumbs + mouse dirt in kitchen drawer). I suggest cleaning them and then using a clean adhesive liner. The house might have a small mouse problem and it could be helped by attending to all the drawers cabinets in bathroom and kitchen plus ensuring the housecleaner truly washes all the floors each time (they were really dirty - swept clean but not washed clean at all.) I think the owner undersells this house. It has a huge fenced in property that could be suitable for having children safely play. There is a card table and a few games. It is a very large home, and we didn't have a bit of trouble with Wifi or television service. It gets fabulous sunlight in unusually large living room windows and the neighborhood feels extremely safe, friendly and quiet. We walked every day and felt very welcome and comfortable there. With a little spiffing up of the bath+kitchen cleanliness and some better dining chairs and kitchen table, this house would really be five stars. The owner was very kind and accessible. Thank you very much for accomodating us.
