The only issue was the unit smelled a little like dog, we had to buy a incense but other than thst it was great We hv stayed here last year in a different unit and did not hv that problem. Will definitely stay there again but maybe a different unit

You can’t get any closer to the beach! I liked the top down bottom up blinds as the decks are used by all. It gave the option for a view without losing a ton of privacy. We were concerned about the dog friendly option but this was literally one of the cleanest VRBO’s we’ve stayed in.

Great for a basic stay
This trip to the coast was last minute, so had to take what we could get. This place was not fancy, but very functional. I do love the fact that it has easy beach access right there! The view from the unit was nice too. It seemed like an older building, but the unit was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The kitchen has the basic cooking supplies needed, and the dishwasher was nice to have. But don’t expect any extras. There is salt and pepper provided in the kitchen, but you won’t find any other spices there. There are smart tvs in the living room and bedroom with Roku, but no local cable. Wifi is available but a little slow…not too bad though. It did go in and out a little. I wasn’t sure at first how we were going to manage charging our devices as outlets are scarce and full. But then I found an extension cord behind the couch, and a power strip in the bedroom, and we were set 😀. I will say that the couch is nice, but not the most comfortable I have ever sat on…quite firm. This is a great as a place to eat and sleep while exploring other activities on the coast, but probably not as good as a comfy hideaway 🙂

We LOVED our stay and WERE planning to come back. HOWEVER, I am being charged over $500 for a broken sofa bed that worked perfectly for us during our stay. The place smells awful and the internet doesn't work but despite that we wanted so badly to come back. The beach was a dream... but due to the dishonestly of the owners we will never rent from Joey's Oceanfront Getaway again. Heartbreaking.

Great little place
We enjoyed our stay. Great location, awesome beach access. Place had everything we needed, and would definitely stay there again. Downsides were very minimal but the place which was very clean had a slight dog smell. Also the fire alarm was very sensitive. Went off just from us using the stove to boil water. Overall I would definitely recommend staying here

Steps from the beach, and minutes from the center of town. Cute condo. It was perfect for our little family. Small shower, and the fireplace is electric, but those are no big deal. The pricing was very appropriate. We'll definitely be back.

There are a few things to mention - heater control doesn’t seem to work and heat is on all the time. -protective coating on new kitchen and bedroom windows needs to be removed. -kitchen window screen is broken at corner -large window in LR could use a cleaning. We would have done it if there were rags. -sofa bed mattress is almost unsleepable. Actually pretty awful. After 1st night, we had to sleep on sofa seating. The bedroom mattress was very comfortable and room was very quiet. -as reported earlier, the sea otter art in LR fell off wall in middle of the night. I left it leaning against the wall. No damage. -we appreciated the availability of sheets, pillows and towels.

Little Gem on the Coast
This space was perfect for our yearly anniversary on the Oregon Coast. Even though we didn’t use the kitchen much, it had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable, and with the windows open and the sea breezes coming in, we slept well in this quiet location. The proximity to the beach was amazing. Each day or evening, we would walk the very few steps to the beautiful beach right out our door and walk, run, or sit and relax. If it had been rainy weather, the space had plenty of books, puzzles, games and tv entertainment options to stay inside and still have fun. Town was just down the way, so there was plenty of shopping, and visiting the ice cream and candy shop. We would definitely stay here again.

We’ve been to the OR coast numerous times but only one other place had as easy an access to the beach as this getaway. Great for two oldsters who can’t spend all day walking the sand but love the view from the deck whenever we needed a break! The property is the perfect size for two people. Hassle free check in and out.
