Cozy cottage
Our family of16 had an excellent stay. As soon as you walked through the door the house felt so cozy. This house had everything we needed, so very clean. Our host responded back to one of our questions within 5min. Thank you we had a great time, hiked and visited a lot of local attractions. Couldn't see everything on the trip we will definitely stay here again our family is already planning our next stay here!!!

Fantastic Weekend with friends
We stayed here with a group of our friends and really enjoyed hanging around the fire pit, using the pool table, arcade machine, and the hot tub! We loved getting our own robe that was on each bed at check in. There is a great outdoor patio space for meals and morning coffee as well as a bench by the pond that was a good space for intentional talks with friends. The check in process was easy and the check out work was minimal! Will definitely be staying here again!

We enjoyed our stay immensly, our only complaint is the mattress on the main floor has issues, the side by the window sinks in and is unconfortable to sleep on. Not sure if it is the mattress or the box spring. Thank you!

Wonderful Thanksgiving
What a great location! Just minutes from shopping if you forgot something. Winery 500 ft down the road. Our family has been to a few locations in Hocking we like this location the best! This is one of the best stocked cabins we have stayed in we didn’t need to bring half of the things we brought from Cincinnati. After talking it over with our family we will rent this cabin again. DZ.

A little misleading
The property itself was very clean and it was nice, but it was significantly smaller than the photos made it seem. There were also some pots and pans that had been used and not been cleaned upon arrival and the landscaping was under construction and in some cases, posed as safety issues with small rails lining the walkways that many of us tripped over several times, thankfully no one was hurt. I would also state that the photos appeared to have more privacy than it did in actuality. Neighbors were clearly visible from the property on all sides. Overall, the property was nice, we just had much different expectations based on the photos.

Family Gathering
Our family of 12 gathered for a long weekend. The ages ranged from 82 - 3. We enjoyed the open main floor as well as the very spacious deck with plenty of outside seating and outside fireplace as well as fire pit for roasting marshmallows. We used the pool table in the basement as well as the hot tub which could sit up to four adults easily. We even caught a fish and saw a tadpole in the pond out back. The brewery was close and provided a nice trip away one evening but the kitchen allowed us to prepare all meals at the cabin. The robes were a nice added touch. Owners were easy to communicate with. We had a very nice time.

Great family reunion location
We had the opportunity to stay at this great Lodge, and had a terrific time. The location is awesome, close to hiking trails, yet private and secluded. We had such a great time dining together, playing games, and making hot dogs by the fire. Terrific spot for family and friends!!

Freezing cold family Christmas delight!
The property was great! The weather, however, brought freezing cold temperatures with ultra cold windchills that knocked the power out for about 12 hours or so. So my family gathering of 11 chattered our teeth together to the tune of 41 degrees. Took awhile to get the temperature back up inside due to some draftiness around doors and windows but was surely nice to have water and oven and stove back up and running to warm our bodies from the inside. And we were able to thoroughly enjoy what we all came together for… a delightfully fun-filled family Christmas celebration! Had a few issues during stay requiring attention from hosts of which communication responses were nearly immediate and super helpful. Would definitely recommend this cabin stay to anyone! Beautiful area and we had everything we needed except power and warmth for part of a day, but of course that wasn’t the cabin’s fault. Mother Nature made those decisions!

Perfect getaway!
The perfect location for our four families to get together for the weekend! Clean and organized and had every cooking bowl, tool, etc. you could possibly need. Location very close to Cantwell Cliffs and Rock House hikes. Kids loved the NBA jam arcade game in the basement. Would definitely come back!

Gathering of friends
We rented this place as 3 families converging from all across the country. We had an absolutely LOVELY time with a kitchen with all the tools needed for big family meals, a beautiful outdoor setting to relax in, and the ability for tech and the occasional electronic for the teens in the group. 😊 It is located close to stunning hikes that all ages can enjoy. (Cell signals at the hike locations are a little dicey though, so map your way back to the house before you go!)

We all enjoyed our stay and there was plenty of room for our group. The outdoor fireplace on the covered patio allowed us to stay outside all evening when it got colder out. We loved the place and would stay again. Great communication with the owners too.

Great Cabin!
The cabin was great for our family weekend. We had 8 adults and 7 kids. Great location to access hiking attractions. Cabin amenities were perfect for relaxing / hanging out in the evenings. Bedroom setup was great for our group.

Perfect Relaxing Weekend
The property is beautiful. We loved all of the amenities from the coffee grinder to the firepit. It’s not too far from stores but far enough to feel at peace from city noise. We had a bat sneak in and the owners had someone out in less than an hour to gently remove the cute little bat. There were plenty of pots and pans to cook for 10 people. We also were thrilled to see MANY wine glasses and margarita glasses which we’ve never seen at any rentals in the past! Nothing that I would have changed about this property!

Great Lodge beautiful scenic views
We had a great time at this lodge on our family vacation to Hocking Hills. This was very clean, beautiful and the owners were very responsive to any needs that you may have while you are there. The pond is great, sunsets are beautiful- we saw deer on the property- there were very few mosquitos if any at all. It was stocked with games, lots of blankets and pillows and was a great get away space. We highly recommend this location.

This property is exactly what we needed! The location was great and the property itself was amazing. I’ve stayed at many locations in the past, and it is clear that this property was amongst the best we’ve stayed at. The cleanliness was exceptional and there was plenty of space to accommodate multiple families and friends. I would highly recommend this property and I am sure we’ll stay again.
