"It is always a treat to stay with Hougoumont and we stay there anytime we are visiting Fremantle. Everything is close, the ammenities are excellent and the staff offer warm and individualised interactions. The complimentary breakfast is perfect to start the day and the happy hour is a great way to commence and evening exploring Freo’s bars and restaurants. The room’s are not huge but hit the spot in comfort and class. Sheets and towels are exactly what I love about hotel stays Will we be back, yep, again and again Tip: book parking and make use of the comp bikes "

"Picturesque location by river very tranquil and relaxing. Beautiful boats dock to admire and small beach to walk along. Beautiful walk down to the water through the gardens from room. Close to shops, markets and restaurants etc. Room was large, bedroom, lounge room, kitchen and bathroom, very clean, comfortable and all amenities supplied. Breakfast was amazing, great chef, cashier lovely, and reception was very pleasant and helpful. Would highly recommend. Will be definitely going back for a longer stay. "
