"Beautiful, cozy stay near the ocean. Beautiful views a short walk away. Because of the weather we didn't get to use much of the outdoor space, but several nice chairs outside. Felt pretty private, separate entrance from rest of house. The grill was a nice touch, but nowhere to sit and eat inside (other than the bed) so we didn't get a chance to cook. Thanks for the lovely stay!"

"Our third stay at 14 Hodges. We were so pleased with the upgrades. The new beds/bedding were amazing and the new thermostat was user friendly. We managed to cook quite a bit while also eating out at our favorite vegan spots in Salem and Beverly. We headed to Boston via train for the Titanic exhibit and headed to Portland Maine and the lit up for the Holidays Nubble Light House. It was great to visit the PEM once again for some great exhibits and all the local stores. It was great to be "home." "

"A very well kept and compact little apartment. Well stocked with everything (except they forgot dishwasher soap on this occasion). Two issues: the stairs up to the loft were fine for us, but might be difficult for anyone with walking issues. And the heating system was a bit of a mess. Upstairs roasted, while the downstairs main room was chilly, and the downstairs bedroom became a sauna if you closed the door. But for most people I'm sure this is not a winter time rental!"

"This property was gorgeous and much more spacious then the photos made it appear. It was a very comfortable set up to hang out as a group as well as having some space to spread out individually. "This rental was super clean, cozy and conveniently located close to downtown Salem. Perfect for enjoying Halloween festivities in Salem. We stayed a couple days the week before Halloween. This unit was well stocked with coffee, paper products, a few snacks, kitchen supplies, soaps … and provided everything else we needed. Nice quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed this rental very much. "

"The picture they show of the inn is from the back pool area, which did not look like the picture. The pool was closed which they did not disclose on their website. Very disappointed about that. The room was very clean and updated but the mattress was not comfortable. I did not have a good night sleep. The breakfast was ok if you like prepackaged pastry. Invest in a waffle iron and more fresh fruit. The coffee was very tasty. "
