View was amazing, lake right down the hill was really nice. No cell reception or wifi was great as well. Could definitely use some upgrades (such as furniture) and a deep clean over all, seeing how there are quite a bit of cobwebs and dust. You won't hate it that's for sure.

Mixed feelings but we enjoyed our stay
There were lots of positives about the camp. The location, the view, and the beach area. Full disclosure that I normally book 'fancier' lodging but I come from a family of campers so take this as you will. The camp was clean and nice but the furniture while campy in the photos, is more than ready to be replaced. Would I stay again? - yes.

Beautiful view but insufficient cleanliness
The accommodation is well worth it for the location, wonderful. Unfortunately, it has not been maintained: the interior is uncomfortable, the stoves need changing, the electrical heater doesn't work, there are no cushion protectors for three out of 4 cushions, plaids covered with animal hairs. It is in needs for a big cleaning. Vacasa should either halve the rental price or renovate so that the it is justified.

BEWARE!!!
I'm not usually one to complain about small issues, but this needs to be addressed. There were holes in the floor, which caused MICE to run around the house and through the kitchen, into the bathroom, due to the clutter and debris of old wood stored underneath the house, which is great living quarters for mice and other rodents. While investigating, I found rodent poison underneath the kitchen sink that was opened, with mice droppings nearby. How would you like to be prepping food in the kitchen and have mice running around your feet!? This is completely unacceptable when you have families with small children and pets trying to enjoy their vacation. Reached out to Vacasa regarding this issue, they stated someone would get back to me, and haven't heard a word now over a week later. Let it be known, this was out third year in a row renting this house, but this is unacceptable and the lack of communication is just wrong.

Mixed Reviews
Working with Vacasa was great. We received directions and lots of communication in a timely fashion. Having a washer/dryer was wonderful as it rained each day we were there with the exception of one. It was incredibly quiet and wonderful to be at the end of the little road with our own cove and private beach. However, we did spend evenings in the camp and rainy points during the day. The interior was not comfortable. As others have put in their comments, the furniture REALLY needs to be updated. The couch is unusable. One end sinks through to the floor. I can't imagine having more than two people at time. The remaining chairs are not particularly comfortable and are so incredibly old. Small things like replacing the living room furniture (even with updated used), having more than two plastic chairs around the fire pit, maybe something to start the fire with, would be game changers.

Great location - cozy cabin
We enjoyed our stay at this older, cozy cabin. The location was simply unbeatable with a private beach and great views of the lake. Communication with the management for a couple of small issues was a bit difficult as we had no cell signal, but we could tell there was a good level of care for addressing any issues here. Out of all of the places we have ever stayed, this was one of our all-time favorites. We hope to stay here again in the near future but for a longer period of time.

Unplug in the Nest!
We just returned from a short stay at Crows Nest and we loved it! Great if you want to unplug for a while! The private beach is gorgeous! The dog loved chasing the red squirrels. The home was clean when we arrived and there were plenty of towels and things to cook with. Just be sure to bring lots of reading materials and CDs or learn French as the radio stations are mostly over the border! I would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet, restful but modern stay! We will book again next year. For longer!

Great Vacation
We enjoyed our stay, especially the wonderful shore walks, bedroom in the trees tops, and very peaceful. The Living Room furniture is rather "funky" and fun, but the couch really needs to be replaced. Loved all the updates made to the cabin. The great amount of work that has gone into updating this cottage is obvious. Kudos to the people that have worked so hard to update this property!

Relaxed Week
Everything we needed was there The dogs enjoyed the lake and we did some hiking around the area. Rain was not a deterrent to us having fires almost every night and sounded wonderful on the metal roof.

Loved the location and how the property was so private. We had a wonderful stay and wish time did not go by so fast. The porch off the sliding glass door side needs some tlc the boards are a little rotten. The dock needs some repair too but we had a great time and will definitely be visiting again. Thank you for letting us rent your unique cabin.😁

Bird Season 2021
Property was clean, well cared for and very accommodating. I would however say that the sleeping of 4 people may be a stretch as both beds are in the same room with one being a Futon

A little too rustic…
The furniture is old and crappy and should be junked. The pots and pans are old and in poor condition. Very little kitchen storage space. Shower and sink are very small. Stairs to the upper floor are very steep and narrow. The futon is a futon - horrible to sleep on and should be replaced with a real bed. There were two worn out lawn chairs. Ok. Now that said the outdoor patio and fire pit are very nice and the location is perfect for outdoor pursuits. I wish the owner would consider some upgrades to the cabin.

Relaxing getaway
Stepping into the cabin was like walking into Grandpa and Grandma's place!!! It was a much needed beak from technology and all the chaos that usually surrounds us! The cabin has everything you could need in the kitchen, lot's of extra blankets/sheets and the TV/DVD player was the best. We enjoyed watching the National Parks DVD's provided and I also scored a handwritten blueberry muffin recipe (took a pic, left the recipe). We'll be back!!!

Great Getaway
There were two of us staying in October and we were fortunate to have beautiful weather. The property, located on a peaceful lake, was great for our kayaking. (Our own kayaks) The property was clean, comfortable, well maintained, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The area was quiet, clearly a place to “unplug”.

Simply amazing
Once you arrive at the road continue straight until you can drive anymore. The address on the gps is not the location but it very close. Very peaceful and serene. A great spot to reconnect with your family with no cell service or interruptions. The private beach is absolutely beautiful!
