Just steps from the beach with a private lighted path.
Two master bedrooms with king-sized beds and private doors onto ocean-front decks make this Beach House a perfect vacation home to share! One of the masters is on the main level of the house where there are two other bedrooms with queen-sized beds and great views. The other one is on the second floor with the main living areas. The house has plenty of room for eight people.

The indoor living space includes comfortable reclining furniture, dining table seating for everyone in the house, a newly remodeled well-equipped modern kitchen, and a full size washer and dryer. An electric fireplace keeps it cozy on chilly nights. Three and a half baths, plus an outside shower with hot and cold water, keep the peace even if you bring teenagers.

As comfortable as the Beach House is, its most spectacular features are the two levels of decks plus a screened porch that faces the ocean. Chairs, swings, picnic tables, and loungers provide places to catch the ocean breeze and enjoy your morning coffee or afternoon wine. The ocean is so close - walk 100 feet and you'll get your feet wet in the surf!

We've got all the modern entertainment: 5 smart TVs, plenty of books to enjoy, free wifi, and games and puzzles, but it's all about the beach! Look for seashells, sea glass (mermaid tears), surf, swim, fish, and build sandcastles right outside the house. Catch dinner and bring it to our fish cleaning station under the house to prepare it for the kitchen or the grill.

Hatteras Island is simply the most beautiful place on earth - where a thin slice of sand separates the Atlantic Ocean and Pamlico Sound. Rodanthe Pier and Salvo Beach are an easy bicycle ride along the coastal trail that travels the length of the seashore. Pea Island National Wildlife Refuge, the Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum, and the small villages of Avon, Buxton, Waves, and Frisco are all short drives. The whole island is also a birdwatcher's paradise, with over 400 species of birds.

The Beach House is a true ocean front with many windows that we felt we were sitting in a big yacht with double deck to stand there for our afternoon cocktail. We had a wonderful staying. Furnitures and beds were very comfortable! My favorite part of the house was the outdoor shower. We highly recommend this house.

Great location!!!
This was our 3rd VRBO vacation. We really liked this house. From the lower level you’re about 100 yards from the water. The camp ground on either side were not an issue. There were people on the beach but it was never over crowded. There are a few places to eat around, they are smaller places. There are a few “general store “ type grocery store within 5-10 min. You wouldn’t have to go to nags head or Avon to an actual grocery store if you didn’t want to. This house may have spoiled us with how close to beach it is.

My husband, son, dog & myself had a wonderful vacation in The Beach House. There were a few very minor things w/ the house that should be addressed, but it in no way took away from our fantastic vacation in this beautiful home. We would definately book this house again. Stormy stay at the beach house
We had heavy rain, high winds and flooding during much of our stay. So it was wonderful that the beach house is so comfortable and well supplied! It was so interesting to see the changing coast. We had a great time walking the beaches, exploring wetlands trails and visiting the Pea Island wildlife preserve.

I’d always wanted to go to the Outer Banks in winter and this was a great place to stay. If you want to be in the thick of things, Rodanthe/Waves might not be the place for you. But for us it was perfect - quiet, away from everything and centrally located in the OB. The house’s view was spectacular and from the living room we could not see another building, just beach and ocean. Be forewarned that things need to be carried up a flight or two of stairs, but that’s the Outer Banks for you. Lovely house, comfortable furniture, well stocked kitchen, and wonderful view.

Beautiful Beach House ☀️
Wonderful week at The Beach House! Lovely decor throughout the house, plenty of space for 5 adults. The kitchen is small but has everything you need, even a French press! Spectacular view of ocean as we relaxed on the large deck. One rainy afternoon was still spectacular as we watched the rain comfortably from the living room. One in our group has mobility issues so this house was perfect so she could enjoy the ocean view without walking to the beach. Frank was instantly responsive to an issue with the Wifi, resolved in less than 30 minutes. Deli, Dollar Store, restaurants, and shops near by. Loved watching the sunrise from the deck and 10 minute walk to the sound for incredible sunsets.

Great Beach House!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return in the future. We didn't have a great weak weatherwise, but the views from the deck were wonderful and any week on the beach on Hatteras Island is a great week! The Beach House is comfortable and very convenient or dog owners, with deck gates and a dog run.

This was one of the best homes my family and I have stayed in at the Outer Banks. Beverly and Frank have created a beautiful space, the house is inviting, the gates on the decks are perfect for the dogs and the view from the back deck is unbeatable being able to wake up and see the sunrise over the ocean, we would definitely stay here again.

Beautifully decorated house that has everything you need to have an amazing vacation. Our family of 6 came to stay at The Beach House for a week. We enjoyed every minute of our stay! The decorations were lovely, the location was amazing, the kitchen was well stocked, and the communication with the owners was quick and reliable. This was our first year staying in Rodanthe and this property did not disappoint! We will definitely be coming back next year. The house was clean, updated, cozy and spacious. The gates on the deck were perfect for our dogs. Plenty of restaurants within a mile and perfectly nestled in-between Nags Head and Hatteras. Owners were attentive and welcoming.

This house is right on the beach. It has a wonderful view. The location near the trailer parks on either side are a non-issue. The house was clean and comfortable. We didn’t even mind the few days of bad weather that we had because you can sit inside and watch the ocean. We are planning to return next year.

This beach house is lovely. The kitchen is small, but very well stocked with dishes, flat ware, cookware and cooking utensils. The furniture is comfortable. The multiple level decks allow for beautiful views of the ocean or just sitting and enjoying the outside. We will be returning next year!

Beach access was just amazing!!
First off the owners were the best communicators you could ever ask for! They were helpful and they cared about your family having a great time. The house provided the right amount of space to relax and make everyone happy. We have already booked this Beach House for next year. Sitting on the upper deck, enjoying a cup of coffee and watching the Sunrise will take your breath away. I think they say the walk to the beach is about 200 feet away. It seems much closer than that!!!!

Peaceful Beach Vacation
We rented this property due to location and being dog friendly and it was just what we needed to spend a quiet week relaxing and unwinding. The house has 2 levels of decks overlooking the ocean to enjoy. Getting to the beach was as easy as walking over the path on the sand dune so you are not carrying your beach gear far. The outdoor shower and foot wash was super handy when coming in off the sand. We were a little worried about camp grounds on either side of us but there really wasn’t any issue with crowds or noise at all. This house is located on a very quiet street in a small town giving you the opportunity to get out of the hustle and bustle and instead run on beach time. I would caution dog owners that there are little burrs on the ground that can get stuck in your furry friends paws (or your own) so be careful when walking through the grass… stick to the sand if possible. Enjoyed our stay.
