"Small studio apartment in a large block, in Arcs 1800. The location is fantastic, ski in/out. A linen rental service, bakery and large spa, as well as lots of restaurants are just outside the door. The slopes are just behind the block, and Folie is 2mins and an easy ski away. It's not easy to see what the apartment is like in the pics. "The chalet was perfect for a big group of 11 men (and room for more!), 5 minute walk from La Roche ski lift. There is a bar and ski hire at the bottom of the lift, although no shop, so we drove up to Plagne centre each morning. Communication with Audrey is exceptional, she is extremely attentive and answers your queries quickly. The living room is great for communal dining and evening entertainment (we played lots of cards). The Olympic bobsleigh is a short walk up the hill."

"Perfect location right on the slopes with a beautiful view to wake up to each morning. The apartment had everything we needed for our stay. Although fairly small we spent our time out all day but was a warm place to lay our heads after a busy day skiing. Would recommend."

We also walked 5 min to the escalators up to 1650 to eat. This was really nice not to use the car. "We loved our time here. We came in summer, and the water park adjacent was pretty great, even though the wave pool was down for repairs on the day we went. We also walked 5 min to the escalators up to 1650 to eat. This was really nice not to use the car. All employees were great, but especially Ali for valet parking and Claire at reception helped us very much. My only small complaint is that I am very sensitive to scents and get headaches and the hotel makes liberal use of fragrances. I wish they toned it down a bit. But otherwise great. Breakfast was outstanding too. "

Lovely hotel

"Great place to stay.. we stayed for 4 nights 2 adults and my 13 year old son.. the only things I’d say..!! is it’s pointless having a kitchen in the apartment, if you do not give a few more facilities for people to use.. we did not go for breakfast as we only eat small before hitting the slopes.. it’s obvious that the hotel restricts any cutlery to force people to eat there or eat out., personally I run 5 holiday rentals and would never restrict items from a property.. the place is restricted by the lack of kitchen facilities in the apartment. Providing some basic kitchen amenities could indeed enhance the guest experience and flexibility. just the little things added certainly would give the hotel a much better rating, as guests do need the options..!! We had to use the multi tool cork screw with tiny pen knife. Lucky we’ve survival skills to adapt 👍😎"

"Great location. Really close to the ski lifts - we could just walk out of the ski locker room and step onto the slope that leads down to the lifts. Plenty of shops, bars and restaurants within a very short walk. The hotel itself was great value for money - an endless supply of food and drink all included in the room rate. Breakfast was a huge buffet with pastries, fruit, cereal, yoghurt, eggs, bacon, breads, cooked meats, etc. You could make your own packed lunch during the breakfast buffet or return to the hotel for buffet lunch in the main restaurant or lunch in the adjoining Le Petit Zinc restaurant for burgers, paninis and salads (no need to take of ski boots in here). The hotel then provided crepes and waffles in the bar at 5pm before evening buffet from 7pm. You could also pre-book a slot one evening in the Petit Zinc giving an a la carte menu or an evening of raclette/fondue in Le Mont Blanc restaurant. The only issue was the lack of labeling of the food. As a vegetarian I struggled to identify if things contained meat or not and there wasn't a great deal of choice for me (vegans would really struggle). The bar was fantastic. It serves hot drinks, beers, wines, cocktails, spirits and soft drinks and was open until 10.30pm - giving plenty of drinking time before you either went out to other venues or retired to bed. There was live music in the bar for entertainment. Rooms are pretty basic, but clean. We didn't use the pool or spa as you had to pay extra for this."

A good introduction to Courchevel Village 1550

"After a long drive from the UK to Courchevel Village our first impressions were a little underwhelming. What we were all actually experiencing was tiredness. We were a group of 10 people ages ranging from teens to adults from close and extended family members. The decisions as to who was going to sleep in what bed and also with whom took some careful considerations but fortunately as a group we all get on very well in each others company! We did have concerns that 10 people and only two bathrooms would be a bit of an issue but it actually worked logistical rather well. The apartment is in a good central location of Courchevel Village, being only a 10 minutes walk up a easily manageable hill and some steps to the Village centre (just across from the Touvets Chair Lift). We hired Ski Lockers at the ESF Ski School in the village so we didn't have to walk up and down from the apartment in Ski Boots and with our Ski's & Snowboards. Parking at the apartment was fine. We had three vehicles in our group so we parked two cars in the apartments own double length garage and our Land Rover was parked in the parking area just across from the garage. If you are a group of close family and/or friends that are looking for a cosy affordable place to stay in a good location as a base to explore Courchevel and the rest of the Les 3 Vallees ski resorts then this is a good place to start."
