"We all loved our time at Nicholas’ house. There is so much to do at the house and it is surrounded by a wall which makes it very easy to be with young families. We picked the vegetables and fruit, fed the chickens and absolutely loved spending time in the river. The pool is beautiful and the house is homely and elegant with everything you need for a happy and easy stay. Nicholas was extremely communicative and kind. We would love to come back again as a group or with others - thank you so much."

"Really beautiful hotel, nice room, spa and pool facilities on excellent standard of golf course. We however didn't have a car and it was an 20 min walk to an infrequent train station and buses only run close part of the day so you really need a car to easily stay here or be prepared to pay a bit for taxis. If going for golf you definitely need to bring your own clubs, hire clubs at golf club were really poor quality, which was a shame as the course was really good. I'd go back but with a car and...

Trois nuits a Poitiers

"We stayed three very comfortable nights. Breakfast in the room was offered but we chose not to use this service. The reception clerks were great; on arrival, on departure, and at all times in between. If we ever return to Poitiers we would hope to stay at Hotel Central. The only negative thing was the three idiots in the street shouting to each other at 3:00 AM, all three nights."

Ideal for an overnight stay

"The chalet accommodation is ideal for us and our two small dogs as we do not disturb the hotel guests if the dogs want an early morning toilet. The food in the restaurant was very nice but an “over the top” bar tender added farce to a lovely evening. We have stayed in the chalets for the last two years but no maintenance work has been done on faulty door handles and toilet flushes."
