In bedrooms are blankets, extrapillows for your sleep needs, a lot of space for your personal belongings and a TV.
We provide for the bathroom, soap, bath foam, shampoo, clean towels, hairdryer and toilet paper.
In the living room you will find a SofaBed, a Notebook connected to WiFi network for your online search and a bluetooth speaker for your music.
You can find in the kitchen water, cofee, tea, sugar, salt and oil.
Furthermore Coffee machine, electric kettle, stove, washing machine, drying rack, dishwasher, iron and ironing board, oven, microwave and of course heating system, hot water, A/C (windows have double glazing for a pleasant stay and a restoring sleep).

THE NEIGHBORHOOD
The Salario/Trieste neighborhood is a central area of Rome, but thanks to its position and to 4 marvellous garden such as Villa Torlonia and Villa Borghese is still quiet and relaxing . It offers exciting experience too, thanks to its fantastic and mysterious Coppedé's neighborhood and MACRO Museum of Contemporary art.
You can enjoy a lots of different restaurants and café.
I will be glad to give you any advice or even to take you for a walk exploring the area.

Moving around will be easy and fast, thanks to close bus and tram stops.

Perfect stay in Rome
Our host was perfect as he was very helpful on all the issues. We had a problem with the air conditioning and he made a lot of efforts to alleviate the situation. The apartment is well placed and has good transportation to all parts of the city. Overall a great place to stay.

Excellent tram / bus connections to sights, while being removed from areas of intense tourism. Reliable support from apartment owner and building superintendant. Very good supermarket, specialized food shops, and restaurants nearby. Villa Torlonia handy as a park. Well suited to sharing with visitors.

Beautiful apartment in great location
Alberto was great to communicate with and met us at the door to settle us in. The tram to the Vatican is a minute away and we were also able to walk to the city centre - 40 enjoyable minutes through the streets of Rome.

Perfect stay!
Alberto was a great host offering helpful guidance and readily available. The flat was spotless, and is located in a nice neighborhood. I was concerned by one review that mentioned a problem of hot water, but we never had any issue with it. If we have a chance to return to Rome, I would definitely stay here again.

This is a wonderful apartment, very clean and very modern. The location is excellent, close to restaurants, markets and public transportation. A taxi ride to tourist area is 8 euro. It is a quite neighborhood where you will fell very safe. Also Alberto is a wonderful host, he has everything printed out including bus and train routes. The beds are very comfortable and the amenities are great.

Perfect location in a true Roman neighborhood
We spent six great weeks in the Elephant Apartment in the area known as Trieste Salario in Rome. This area is not overrun by tourists; you are in a true Roman neighborhood, not in part of the theme park into which much of Rome is turning. There are supermarkets, restaurants and stores within two to three blocks of the apartment. The convenience of the apartment to bus and tram transport to anywhere in the city can not be exaggerated and, in our experience, was one of the major attractions of the apartment. Coupled with the ItTaxi app if you wish, transportation is easy. The apartment is in a solid period building built in the nineteen-twenties with a quaint elevator that never seemed busy. The apartment, while dated, is a true two-bed, two-bath large enough to accommodate two couples or a family of four easily. One bedroom is essentially a separate en-suitel. The washer and dryer were welcome, as was the full sized refrigerator, stove, electric coffee pot, toaster and older micro wave oven. Beds are firm but comfortable with plenty of linens and blankets. Alberto, the apartment manager, was helpful and responsive. The check in and out was easy. It was great to have the convenience of the apartment. In sum, the apartment, while basically and inexpensively furnished, was comfortable, very clean and we would highly recommend the neighborhood and the apartment.

Sehr netter Vermieter und Wohnung
Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Parken kann man in der Umgebung im Parkhaus oder wenn man viel Glück und ein kleines Auto hat, direkt vor Ort. Supermarkt ist per Fuss bequem erreichbar und man kommt mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmittels sehr gut weg. In der Ugebung gibt es genügend Restaurants und für uns, die wir zum Ryder Cup zu Besuch waren, war es alles tipp top.

Rome Venture
Alberto was excellent with facilitating checkin and advising places to visit during our stay. He is very kind and always available. We appreciated him allowing us to store our luggage prior to checkin. The rooms are very spacious. The apartment was fully equipped with all of your needs. It was also a bonus to have both a washer and dryer. There is a grocery store a few blocks away and many cafe/pizzeria within walking distance. We really loved the location! The only downfall, is during our stay there was construction going on across from the apartment. Other than that, it was a beautiful place to stay!

Beautiful Building in a convenient area
Alberto was very helpful and welcoming, the property was as described, and very convenient with 2 bathrooms! a washer, and a dishwasher. The building is beautiful with a courtyard and very well located to restaurants, public transport, a taxi stand, and shops. the apartment is on the 3rd (4th) floor, there is a beautiful antique elevator, or the staircase to reach it. Alberto has so much information on anything you'd need locally. I recommend taking a cab down to Trevi fountain at night and enjoying the incredible sight all lit up.

Fabulous stay in clean quiet apartment!
I booked this apartment for my mother and her sisters, I stayed nearby. The apartment was well appointed, clean, safe, and in a nice quiet location, close to all the sites in Rome but removed enough to feel like you are not in the heart of the madness. Alberto was a wonderful host, my family really appreciated his warmth and kindness. I highly recommend the Elephant Apartment if you are considering visiting Rome!

One of the Best Apartments in Rome
My eight-week stay at the Elephant Apartment was totally satisfying. The neighborhood was new to me, and I enjoyed having access to the whole city by foot or public transportation. The apartment is brand new, in a lovely and elegant building - with an elevator and doorman - from the 1920's. The two bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, and the bathrooms are furnished with the latest Italian design that functions perfectly. One bedroom even has a balcony overlooking a tranquil courtyard, and the light from the large windows throughout the apartment is wonderful. There is absolutely no street noise, even though a major artery - with a tram - is just steps from the building. The kitchen is a dream: full-sized refrigerator, dishwasher, oven, microwave, and all the pots and pans anyone could need. I am not a great cook, but even I was able to produce eatable food from that great space ,and set the table for six nearby. The owner/manager of the apartment is Alberto Terrasi, and he and his companion, Giordana, cannot do enough to make their guests feel at home. Since they live across the hall, we were able to get to know one another well, and we enjoyed the occasional conversation and drink together, discussing who knows what. By the way, Alberto's English is excellent, a real advantage for his guests. I will stay in the Elephant Apartment again, as soon as I can arrange it. I have recommended it and will continue to recommend it to friends who might be planning a trip to Rome. Great apartment, wonderful location, the best manager/owner.
