Locanda Navona is an excellent choice near the Piazza Navona. It is walking distance to all west side sights. There are numerous restaurants and shopping areas conveniently situated. I highly recommend this hotel with its awesome staff!

We loved everything about the stay right down the road from Piazza Navona. The only potential issue was loud music until 2am on the weekend but if you want to stay in the heart of the city, that is to be expected.

Location of Hotel Locanda is excellent. Within walking distance to nearly all historical Sites and not to forget restaurants and shopping. Very friendly and helpful staff, large room with a view to a charming neighborhood, one really gets the feeling of being in Rome. I’ll be back for sure!

We had a very quick (one night) stay at this wonderful accommodation. The bed was incredibly comfortable and despite being on a corner was very quiet with double windows. Bathroom was tight but extremely clean and well appointed. Juice, water and tea very appreciated

Excellent location, great staff and very convenient location. Other reviews mention noise at night and yes there was a minimal amount of noise on one night of our four night stay but nothing to impede sleeping, rooms are sound proofed well and our family suite #106 was on first floor (2nd in USA) and everything was perfect! I’d recommend this property and stay here again.

Right in the heart of the neighborhood. Enjoyed hearing the bustle of the street and the many restaurants. Closing the windows kept out most of the sound when we were ready for sleep. Restaurants within steps of the front door.

Great Location
Great location - we were able to walk to various tourist spots and there were a ton of restaurants right outside the hotel. The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean. They provided water, juice, and snacks free of charge in the room. Be aware there is no elevator so you have to carry your luggage up one flight of stairs. We had large suitcases, but fortunately the staff helped us. I would stay there again.

Had to pay city taxes with Euros.
Great location. Only complaint is, had to pay city taxes in Euros which I was not informed of that prior. All the other 7 hotels we stayed at for our 2 weeks vacation we were able to use a credit card. Due not knowing I had to use Euros, I had to find an ATM. I am fine with paying Euros but would have been nice to know in advance. All else was good.

Centrally located but just ok...
When we were dropped off by our taxi we struggled at first to find the door to the apartments. The apartment owners could do better to explain where the doorway is located. However, the location of the apartment is fantastic and really close to Piazza Navrona and within easy walk of all the major attractions - Pantheon 5 min, Vatican 15 min, Roman Forum 15 mins etc. The downside to this central location is that it can be very noisy at night and the rooms are small. Overall, it’s served our purpose for exploring Rome but I wouldn’t hurry back.

The location is of course special. The room is not much and not a nice as the photos. I was unimpressed with the attendant. Perhaps this was all adequate. There is no lift so a flight of stairs. Noise was not a problem the inner doors on the windows are soundproof. The room is not inspiring I didn't trust the outermost door however you get a special location at a very low price. I have stayed at another place right on Piazza Navona, Navona Stay. Not prefect but better then this and even better location and view.

Overall was disappointed. Would not stay again in this property, but would try other “hotel” in the building because the location is pretty good. The pictures are better than the actual place. ITS NOT A BED AND BREAKFAST. Its in an apartment building thats turned into a “hotel” (but is typical in italy). There IS NO BREAKFAST. Sheets felt paper thin, but bed is comfy overall. You have a mini (not full balcony) that overlooks the street. It can get loud at night, but not too bad. Its ok.

The Locanda is not a hotel. It is a set of rooms partitioned out of a single apartment a residential building. It is not well labeled and the two exterior doors are not pictured its photos. (You must first enter the exterior residential building door, then go up to the 1st floor to enter the apartment door to get into the part that is Locanda and its rooms. Only then do you find the small lobby off of which individual rooms are individually numbered.) The exterior door had garbage piled up next to it. A loud pub is near by. It was not what was pictured or represented. I departed after the first night and stayed at a real hotel to save my trip to Rome. Laconda would not refund the remaining two unused nights.
