Stylish house in great location with magical views
We stayed for 2 weeks over the summer with our 2 boys aged 9 and 13. The house is in a great location for the beach and for exploring the Côte d’Azur. The panoramic views are exceptional and the house is rustic but has been beautifully styled. I would recommend the house for a family but maybe not for very young children as the spiral staircase is steep and there are lots of steps and sharp drops in the garden and pool area. The host was lovely and resolved any questions we had immediately. The house was very well equipped with everything you could need and we very much enjoyed our stay.

Amazing
We are a family of 7 and stayed for 2 weeks. We had an amazing time. We drove from the uk so had our cars which meant we could go out exploring, we did Sainte-Maxime, Saint Tropez and Monaco which all took between 25mins to 1hr 30mins. When we didn’t want to drive, we could walk to town or getting a taxis was nice and easy. There is also a boat from town that takes you to Saint Tropez. The host Sylvie was lovely, nothing was to much trouble. The Villa was a perfect size for us all. We would highly recommend and will definitely be returning.

A little paradise in the Côte d’Azur
Evoking the charm and romance of an earlier era, this villa is as wonderful as you can imagine from the photos. The views of the sea towards the shoreline are absolutely stunning throughout the property, as if in a dream or a movie, rivalled only by the views of the picturesque valley and houses from the back garden. This house sits on the hillside with only one neighbouring property with no significant overlook, which gives a large degree of privacy while enjoying the large terrace, sparkling swimming pool or playing ping pong under the tree. The house is decorated with taste and stylish elements, the beds comfortable and kitchen well-equipped. The location is perfect only a few minutes by car to multiple beaches to explore , close to touristic towns such as St Maxime and even to St Tropez (traffic isn’t bad during shoulder seasons), access to modern conveniences (carrefour hyper market in St Maxime can be recommended for provisioning). Sure the house is close to a main road but it is relatively quiet and it is is a totally minor point compared to the views, the privacy, the location, the beautiful sunsets/sun rises and accompanying birdsong one will enjoy with family and friends. A place to relax & unwind after the day’s exploration….The host was very understanding and highly responsive and assisted us greatly with our needs, her premier host status is fully justified. We used a translation app to communicate. We felt safe and happy in this place, to be repeated without question. Thank you for hosting us!

We are a group of 8 adults who thoroughly enjoyed staying in the villa. The villa is modern and fully equipped. We liked the location and it was only a short walk to the beach, we are all active people so the hill back up was not a problem but could be for small children. Lovely area with lots to do. We liked that the living area was upstairs as it allowed us to sit on the balcony for mealtimes and enjoy the fantastic views. There is plenty of outside space for people to have both quiet and social time. We would only have a couple of comments to make which we think would make this villa even better and that is a shower by the pool and an extra toilet. We did manage but 8 adults and 2 toilets was a bit challenging thankfully we are all very good friends. Sylvie is excellent and very helpful, I left a jacket and jumper there which was returned immediately. We would thoroughly recommend staying here.

A lovely place to stay
We all agreed that we would be happy to return to stay at this house. We consisted of six adults (x3 couples) and three children aged 3 5 and 8years old. Initially, wifi did not work but a reboot of the router fixed that. There is a good size TV with a decoder that seems to be focused toward German guests channel wise. The kitchen is well equipped and has just about everything important. There is a challenge involved with finding things but they are generally there. There is a fridge/freezer upstairs and downstairs. Do not buy olive oil or balsamic as previous guests have left plenty! Buy new fire starters if planning a BBQ. There is a SPAR supermarche only 1km away which seems well stocked and is easier to get to than Carrefour in Sainte Maxime which is a good 20-minute drive away (avoid Lidl as not well stocked in our opinion). Carrefour would be best for the big shop. Mosquitos are around but few and far between. We erected nets over the beds but possibly did not need, but who wants to itch? The senior citizens were allocated the bedroom without an opening window, and had no problem keeping cool with the fan (one in each bedroom). Everyone said they slept well on the beds provided. We were disappointed that there was very little toilet paper in the bathroom on arrival. Also even though we were told there was a pool alarm there was no way to make it work. The pool itself is very nice and a good size and depth. The gardens are superb as is the terrace and lovely long table and 8 chairs. The house is in a very quiet location and it is great to go for a run in the mornings along the seafront, then a swim in the clear seawater. Did we like staying here, yes we did!

Wonderful characteristic property in a beautiful location.
It has been a pleasure to stay at Villa Rousse. We have had the most fantastic two weeks enjoying our time at the villa and exploring the surrounding area. Superb restaurants and beaches. Fint hus med fantastisk havsutsikt
Trevligt hus med modern och fräsch inredning. Fin trädgård och stor pool. Kul med bordtennisbord. Vi spelade boule på grusplanen. Vi var sex vuxna och det fungerade bra. Sylvie var mycket trevlig och hjälpsam. Den enda synpunkten vi har är att det vore bra med bättre belysning på poolsidan. Vi kommer gärna tillbaka!

Abbiamo soggiornato in 6 - 2 famiglie e ci siamo trovati benissimo. La casa è molto spaziosa e ben equipaggiata, e con una piscina fantastica. Dal balcone mentre si fa colazione o pranzo e cena si ha una vista meravigliosa anche sul mare. Sylvie è stata un host molto disponibile. Si può raggiungere il Mare anche a piedi con una camminata di 15 minuti. Super consigliato Un grazie a Sylvie

Highly recommended Villa on the Cote d‘Azur
The host and owner of the villa welcome us very warm and friendly. In a quick walk around she explained us all the details and how to use the equipment. Kids and dogs are very welcome. (btw: our kids liked the pool and the adults the BBQ-station) The beaches of St. Maxim and even to St. Tropez are very closed and with the car reachable in less than a hour. Supermarkets, Pharmacy and other facilities are around the spot. Summary: If you would to spend your vacation on the Cote a‘Azur, this villa is highly recommended.

Maison agréable avec vue
La maison est très agréable, la vue splendide et le petit jardn ombragé autour de la piscine est simplement magnifique. Etonnament, autour de la piscine on entends à peine la route qui passe devant la maison. C'est déjà différent sur le balcon et dans la cha,bre à coucher à l'étage mais ce n'était pas dérangeant. La hôte Sylvie est très gentille et à l'écoute. A recommander!

Heerlijke woning
Grootste pluspunt van de woning is het uitzicht, dat is fenomenaal. Het zwembad is niet verwarmd, maar dat was, als je er eenmaal door was, ook eind april al geen probleem. Inrichting is leuk, de bedden slapen prima. Het huis is gelegen aan een doorgaande weg, maar daar heb je nauwelijks last van, zeker ‘s avonds niet. Je bent zo in Ste. Maxime en Fréjus, en St. Tropez en Ramatuelle zijn ook goed te bereiken. De bedden slapen goed. Het sanitair verdient wel een update, en de keuken is geïnstalleerd door iemand zonder logica:: alle kastjes openen de verkeerde kant op (inclusief koelkast). De afzuigkap werkt niet. Los van die kleine minpunten hadden we een heerlijk verblijf. Als deze punten worden aangepakt, dan is het helemaal een topwoning. Ten slotte: het blijft onbegrijpelijk dat in een streek waar de zon zo vaak schijnt en ze juist zoveel last hebben van toenemende droogte vanwege de klimaatverandering, er zo weinig zonnepanelen zijn. Ook dit huis heeft ze niet, onbegrijpelijk.

Haus mit schöner Meersicht und guter Infrastruktur
Sehr schönes Haus, etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Gut ausgerüstet, auch die Betten sind gut. Sehr schöner Swimmingpool, zentral gelegen, mit dem Auto ist man in 5-7 Minuten im kleinen Zentrum. Auto unbedingt erforderlich.
