We were told to always use the back door for access, as front door would be locked, strange for a hotel, but the most annoying thing was the look on her face , she looked at us like we were a piece of dirt from under her shoe, unbelievably rude to say the least. "Second time I've stayed here. Convenient for the golf course and supermarket and a pleasant walk into a lovely town. Along with some places in Normandy, Bethune is the friendliest place that my Friends and I have found in France. Very good breakfast and nice Lady on reception - plus Thomas the cat. We also enjoyed a nice bottle of fizz in the pleasant garden."

"It was a very cold evening but the room was warm and cosy. It was very clean and the bath and shower had plenty of hot water. It is within easy walking distance to the central square and easy to drive from the autoroute. Car parking is secure behind a fob operated gate. We were heading to the Euro tunnel the following day which is about 50 minutes. I can highly recommend Les Béthunoises, we will certainly stay there again."
