"This hotel is in a great location for visiting Red Lodge and the nearby skiing area. Quiet due to being at the edge of the town yet only a short walk to the bars and restaurants. Very easy 15 minute drive to the ski area. Very friendly staff too, check in was a breeze. Only minus point was no lift, so you have to drag your stuff up stairs if you're on the upper floor. At least it's only one floor. "

"Wonderful owner, extremely friendly and helpful. Cute little hotel, older and rustic but very clean room with sparkly new bathroom. Window curtains didn’t quite close all the way so felt privacy was a bit compromised. Was equipped well with towels, hair dryer, fridge and an efficient room heater. Parking lot a little tight, big pickups can angle you out of your parking space. Some good options to eat just a few blocks up Broadway. "

"Our particular room was nice, quiet, plenty of space for a family of 5 (2 middle school and 1 elementary aged kiddos). So nice that the pool was open late. Grab & go breakfast was nice. Room was pretty clean overall. Bathroom, sink area, and fridge/freezer could have been a bit cleaner. We'd stay again. "

"Manager (Chad) was quite friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed staying in Cooke City. It had a unique personality and was very convenient for getting to Lamar Valley. It’s a rustic little town, so if that’s not your thing, you probably wouldn’t like it. We will most likely stay at Alpine again. "
