"Very clean. Highly polished hardwood floors. Air conditioner on and room cool on a hot day. Older main building. Motel rooms seemed newly renovated, roomy, microwave, frig…large room inside for coffee, snacks"

"If I needed a place to stay in the area, I would come back. The place was very nice, clean, and well kept. We even sat around to fire pit and spoke with others staying there. We stayed in the main hotel building. The rooms were small, but clean. Be aware there are no TV's in the rooms, that may be a good thing for some. I also suggest that if the restaurant, Conover Club, is open it is a great meal. I have one minor complaint. They advertise that they give you free cups coffee in the lobby, but yet a cup of tea is almost $5? That makes no sense to me. I understand they have loose tea, but buy a box of tea bags."

"30 members of my family stayed at the property for a reunion. The four homes and bedroom configurations suited the various families, some couples, some families with young children, etc. The pool was great. The kitchen large and well-appointed. The only issue we had was that with that many people, we produced a lot of garbage and the garbage receptacle was a long walk down a big hill from the main house."
