"It is indeed a very quiet and beautiful place, it was our first trip to a place like this, my kids really enjoyed visiting the farm, walking by the river and sleeping in a wood house! The bed downstairs really needs an upgrade, the matress is no longer good for a quality rest. The kitchen is really well equiped with almost everything you may need. The place was really clean, the TV works great and having our own real fireplace inside was almost magic! Overall a great experience, we will for sure...

"Very cozy and unique place. The bed was very comfortable, and the ground was very pretty. You have to be “verified” through a third party to confirm your reservation, which takes some time. I was there during low season. The breakfast area had good selection of tea and coffee. However the bagels, muffins and fruit were a bit sad. "

Quiet little oasis

"We booked a two night stay for a girl’s weekend. This cabin was perfect! It was clean, quiet, had a fully furnished kitchen, sported great quality linens, and a great hot tub. The beds were comfortable! I highly recommend this location. The host was extremely responsive and helpful via the app messenger."

Perfect for a Winter Get-A-Way

"Within 30 minutes of my arrival the first evening, it started to snow. It continued to snow all night long and into the morning. When I woke-up I was in awe because the snow was so beautiful and the cabin so charming. I felt like I was smack, dab in the middle of a Norman Rockwell painting. The trip was very relaxing and the owner very responsive. "

Wonderful getaway

"If you are looking for a rustic, off grid, romantic mountain getaway- this is the rental for you. There is no Wi-Fi, and we did not have cell phone service- so do your research about the area before you arrive. The hosts did have a guest book with a plethora of information about the area and attractions. The drive to the cabin is not for the feint of heart, but it was secluded and private with stunning views. Just a short drive to town for groceries and about 30 minutes to Shenandoah National Park which offered some of the most amazing views and hiking trials I have ever seen. Highly recommend this lovely chalet!"

"We went for a quick getaway, and are already planning a longer trip back with our kids. The staff were so helpful (we forgot all our toiletries) and the setting was gorgeous. It’s a lodge in a national park, not a luxury retreat in Aspen, so accommodations fit the setting, but all in all we were really happy. The only ding is that the mattress wasn’t *great* but we were fine. "

Perfect place in the country

"If you’re looking for a nice quiet place to relax that’s pet friendly, this is it. We spent four days hiking in the local area and each evening made a fire in the fire pit. The place was very very clean. Our dog loved being outside with us in the afternoons while we relaxed after a day of hiking. It really was the perfect place for us. Cows in the field in the back and deer that came around every afternoon Pretty pastoral, quiet setting. ."

"Truly a home away from home! We had everything we needed for a fantastic visit. We cooked steaks on the grill and smores on the patio. The entire family enjoyed the hot tub, the ping pong table, and the arcade game. We also had fun playing Uno, Yahtzee, and Monopoly. The view was great and the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful."
