"A very nice place to stay in a very convenient location. Easily sleeps 8, 9 or 10 if you include sofa space. Nice size TV. Internet was good the first couple of days but we experienced a lot of outages a few days into our stay. Very good local shop less than 5 minutes walk and a similar distance to the local station which can get you to the airport or the city in roughly 30 minutes. Everything seems to be open late, even on weekends, so it is easy to buy things on the way back from a long day...

"Two factors made our stay at this house so memorable: 1) The house sits on the beautiful island of Stegesund (no cars, only a small dirt road) that overlooks gorgeous water just outside of the town of Vaxholm. "Super nettes kleines Häuschen, direkt am Wasser gelegen mit Paddelboot. Gute Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter, der jederzeit Fragen beantwortet. Man wohnt im Prinzip auf seinem Grundstück unterhalb seines Hauses. Die Hütte hat alles, was es bin für einen Urlaub braucht. Die Lage direkt am Wasser ist wirklich malerisch und besonders. "Beautiful house – very unique, wonderful location, loved Janu as a host! He was very available, was willing and able to work with us on every question or need we had, and was super friendly! I can’t imagine we could’ve had a better stay anywhere! Hands-down, one of the most unique and best days we’ve had using VRBO yet. "We were a family group of 10 and had plenty to do and plenty of space on the property. The game room, 2 pools, and, of course, the lake kept everyone busy. Numerous restaurants and grocery stores are nearby. The host, Johan, is amazing and very helpful. All in all, a 10 out of 10 property!"

"Wir hatten ein schönes gemütliches kleines Häuschen am See. Die Ruhe und der Ausblick über den See waren stets atemberaubend. Es steht ein Ruderboot, ein Kanadier und ein SUP zur Nutzung zur Verfügung. Was wir auch auf dem See genutzt haben. (Motorboot hatten wir nicht genutzt). Das Häuschen ist gemütlich und hat in der Küche alle Utenslien. Seifen/Spülmittel sind vorhanden (Toilettenpapier, Geschirrtuch selbst mitbringen). The most difficult part was that we arrived on a weekend and there isn’t anyone at reception. we also arrived quite late in the day and we weren’t able to access the property to then use their landline to call them and check-in. "Vi är supernöjda med vår vistelse på Marhomlen. Vi hyrde en stuga som var stor, mysig & fräsch. Fanns mycket aktiviteter att göra på ön och ön var även så fin & mysig att strosa omkring på. Vi fiskade, badade och hyrde roddbåt. Rekommenderar verkligen!"

"It was lovely to be able to check in a little earlier than usual as I had a long journey and was exhausted. ..thank you to the accommodating staff on the front desk. The room was functional ..and had a desk, which came in handy, as I had work to do. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable...superbly located close to the railway station ..I shall definitely be returning."

"I loved staying at the property- a great location in the middle of Östermalm but it was so quiet! I walked everywhere from the hotel including to and from the station. I really loved the theme of the hotel and especially Greta’s bistro where I had dinner one of the nights of my stay- the food was excellent and the staff exceptional! The only thing that was a little confusing was check in and I think that was down to the time I arrived- the reception area is a small space right next to a busy queue for the busy bar! But this wouldn’t be enough to detract from top marks. I’d stay here again any time!"
