"We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was fully stocked with everything we could possibly want. The view is stunning and worth the hike up the mountain. The walkway was a bit slippery on a frosty morning, but we used the provided "trax" (spiked covers for shoes) and they worked great. The host was having a fridge issue during our stay, but they made sure we had a working fridge and offered clear communications about when we could expect a repair person to arrive."

"Went up to celebrate my son’s 21st birthday. Both youngest kids had a half hour drive from Ferris State University. My oldest had to work in Big Rapids. My parents live an hour and ten minutes away. Perfect location on the lake to have a small gathering for a day. Hiking trails nearby. Spent a night alone in the peaceful morning waking up to a beautiful lake and breeze. Plan to return. "

We didn’t need anything other than food and toiletries… plenty of room inside and a fire pit and grill outside. 3 full size beds, was a tight squeeze for my husband and I, because our Poodle Cookie is used to sleeping in a King…lol but we managed. "Very clean. Comfortable. Has two bathrooms which is great. Decent parking. Nice fire pit out front. The garage has ping pong table and a few other games which is awesome. The covered grilling station outside the garage is a nice touch. The couches are very comfortable afyer a long day offroading at the sand dunes.Only thing we didn't like were the security cameras in the yard and on the deck. Weird feeling to be watched while on vacation. Other than that great little cabin."
