"We felt that only one hook in bathroom for towels was inadequate.... a comfortable chair in the room would have been nice......plenty of room for one! We left one day early due to prediction of local flooding expected in our home town. Because I gave 3 days notice of this i would have liked a refund or part refund!!!"

"Had such a great time staying here for a romantic anniversary trip away. The check self check in was simple and easy, plenty of parking right by our room. The room itself was so lovely, and we enjoyed the additional organic breakfast items we had available to us for a quick meal before heading out. We especially appreciated the help we received from the staff. We attended a concert near by and had issues with our uber cancelling, stuck waiting for over an hour and a half with no way back. "We spent 4 nights at Hermitage lodge in the Hunter valley. We had a duplex lodge with a full kitchen, living room, separate upstairs bedroom and bathroom, and balconies on both levels. Everything was immaculate. The location was perfect for visiting the vineyards and town of Cessnock. The lodge looked out over a small vineyard with a forested backdrop. I would definitely recommend Hermitage lodge as a place to stay in the Hunter valley."
