"Der Gastgeber war sehr nett, jedoch ein wenig unorientiert. Die Bettbezüge und das Spannbetttuch waren gewaschen, jedoch noch nicht trocken. Auch über die Lüftung/Heizung im Bad wurde es nicht besser. Die Lüftung stank später nach Abwasser-Kloake. Der Hinweis, dass es keine Küche gab, haben wir übersehen. Er war hilfsbereit und hat unsere Sachen in seinen Kühlschrank gelegt. Jedoch wäre noch ein Hinweis gut, dass das Wasser aus der Leitung nicht genießbar ist und wir Wasser in Flaschen kaufen...

"Wir hatten wirklich schöne Tage am Bodensee. Da die Wohnung auf dem Berg liegt, empfehlen sich E-Bikes, wenn man nicht immer mit dem Auto fahren möchte. Wir hatten normale Räder und das letzte Stück war bei über 30 Grad schon sehr anstrengend. Bei den Temperaturen wäre eine Klimaanlage noch das Nonplusultra."

"Die Vermieterin war sehr freundlich. Die Wohnung war blitzeblank. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es fehlte uns an nichts. Das Bett war bequem und man konnte gut darin schlafen. Selbst Toilettenpapier und Handtücher waren vorhanden. Wohnung ist genau so wie in der Anzeige beschrieben. Können diese ohne Einschränkungen weiterempfehlen. Die Gegend ist wunderschön und es gab viele Ausflugsmöglichkeiten."

"Even though we didn’t speak much German, we could communicate with the host through VRBO and the messages were translated. We appreciated the lockbox entry so we didn’t need to arrive at a specific time. There was free parking behind the house. Unfortunately we had a massive van and we couldn’t fit it in the parking area, but the host directed us to another spot we could use. There were three spacious bedrooms, and a well supplied kitchen. There was a large bathroom and a nice patio area too....

"I was given a very warm welcome when I arrived at the SeeHotel. The reception staff were very welcoming and helpful with my questions. The room that I was allocated had probably the best view over the promenade and shoreline of Lake Constance that is available from this hotel. (Room 422). Although I only used the restaurant once for an evening meal, the food was cooked very well and delicious. The inclusive buffet breakfast was also excellent, with a large selection of everything that you could wish for, for the first meal of the day. Even hot Bacon, Sausages and Scrambled eggs which in my experience is unusual for a European breakfast which usually only had cold meats and cheeses for breakfast. The town of Friedrichshafen is compact, mostly modern architecture, and easily walkable from the hotel, with olny gradual slopes, (no steep hills), and with the bus and main railway stations directly outside the hotel entrance, probably the most convenient hotel to stay in, in Friedrichshafen, (in my opinion?). There is also a free shuttle bus that takes you from the bus station, to and from the Messe exhibition halls, and the harbour. I stayed for three nights while attending the annual Ham Radio convention at the Messe Exhibition Centre and would highly recommend the SeeHotel as a great and excellent value place to stay. "
