Only open to visitors for about 8 weeks in Summer, need to book, can get tickets at Oslo Visitors centre, tour in english was excellent

Didn't realise that you can only get tickets through Ticketek for the Royal Palace until we were there. When I tried I was told there were tickets availabkle but couldn't get the English translation to work. Hotel staff tried to help but website wouldn't accept my Aussie mobile number which was a mandatory field. Eventually rang Ticketek but then told no tickets available. Need to book ahead if you want to go.
