Quiet and very comfortable. Although I didn’t use it the local pub has a good reputation and there is a local Nisa. The continental breakfast provision was excellent. Limited cooking capability but fine if you are ok with microwavable meals.

Perfect stay
We stayed here for two nights. From the moment we opened the door it had the wow factor. The room was clean, homely and very cosy. The host has literally thought of everything you might need from plenty of towels, shampoo, conditioner and even shower gel as well as stocking the fridge up with fresh produce. Perfect spot and had a lovely time. We will definitely go back

Second stay.. lovely barn
This was the 2nd time we have stayed at Little Barn. For ourselves this is a great place for the few night stays, to visit our daughter and partner in Cambridge. Verity is a great host, the fridge has all the essential items, plus some thought-out extras. All round excellent stay.

Perfect little gem
The Little Barn was just perfect for our needs. Situated less than a mile from The Wimpole Estate which we were visiting. Excellent eating just 150 yds down the road, so all in all perfection. Your host, Verity, could not be any more helpful, thoughtful and kind. The barn itself is newly refurbished and of very high quality. So if you need accommodation in Cambridge area you won't go far wrong staying here.

Beautiful little barn
Had a wonderful couple of nights at Little Barn. Verity was very welcoming and left me a birthday card which was a lovely touch. We were grateful for the milk, fruit, bread, tea, cereal etc and the Barn itself is beautifully decorated. There is a small conservatory you walk into which the main house also has access to, so although you’re quite close to the owners house, you still felt apart as Verity closed her door and pulled her curtain across to give each other some privacy. About 30 minutes from Cambridge but not a lot going on around the area for us (depends what you’re into I guess). Good local pub 2 minutes walk away. Barn was beautiful, the only fault I had was there was no mirror to do your hair in the morning (that’s being picky), but would recommend. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Sweet Cottage Near Cambridge
We had lots of privacy and access to the lovely, well cared for gardens. Verity offered a warm welcome and some snacks to keep us going during our two day stay. What a wonderful place to relax and experience the countryside outside of Cambridge. Easy access to the city and to the National Trust property nearby, along with walking and biking paths.

Little Barn was the perfect stay to celebrate my hubby's 60th. Close to the Wimpole estate and a short drive from Cambridge. Little Barn had everything we needed and more. The host was welcoming and provided lots of literature and information about local places to visit. Our welcome goody package was much appreciated. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

A week in the little barn
The barn is perfect, for a couple looking for a tranquil, private setting, with a number of lovely pubs/restaurants near by with 1 in walking distance, another in the next village, and a lovely Italian only a couple of miles up the road, the National trust site at Wimpole is well worth a visit, and the city of cambridge via the park and ride is full of interesting sites. We had a very full week, and enjoyed our stay 100% helped by Verity, the hosts lovely accommodation and hospitality.

Stunning accommodation in a delightful village
Verity is the perfect host. The barn is utterly charming. Authentic with a modern twist. The goodies left by Verity in the fridge and pantry were also delicious. The garden is spectacular. And the little sun room as you enter is fabulous. Spotlessly clean too. This was our 2nd visit and we will be back. Only a short distance into Cambridge by car. Would thoroughly recommend. Gillian

A Perfect Spot!
Our stay here was lovely. The home was a historic property in the lovely village of Orwell. It was compact but our hostess had thought of everything. We even left with a bag of delicious pears grown in the gorgeous garden. The village had wonderful spots to eat and it was close to Cambridge where we spent a great day. Thanks so much!

Very compact but everything you could want or need. Fabulous toiletries and amenities. Breakfast supplies - cereal, fresh fruit, bread for toast - along with orange juice, teas and coffee were all fantastic. I would highly recommend this little place - it was just perfect.

Perfect place for a short break
We booked this lovely little barn for a weekend break for our anniversary, and it didn’t disappoint. Although small, it is cleverly designed and furnished to a high standard. Unusually, everything you might need was provided including a lovely selection of food for breakfast; milk, bread, butter, fruit, yoghurts, cereals and juices. Plus loads of different teas and coffee. The only thing we didn’t like so much was the amount of light which came in through a high window in the morning (we’re used to a much darker room at night). The local pub serves the most wonderful food and the nearby walks are splendid and numerous. All in all, a lovely stay and we’d definitely go back again!

Thank you Verity for letting us stay in your beautiful barn, such a lovely relaxing few days in an ideal setting with access to beautiful garden, great for visiting Cambridge only twenty minutes by car, The village of Orwell is very pretty with a great community orchard where you can walk, sit and picnic and interesting walk up to the clunch pit! We didn’t get a chance to visit the local pub in the village but it too looked good, maybe next time, Verity was a fantastic host who made us extremely welcome and has thought of lots of little extra touches to make your stay special, as well as the delicious breakfast, thank again Verity first class

Gorgeous cottage
This little Barn is absolutely stunning. The village is quaint and has an excellent country pub that we used twice on our 4 night stay. Excellent food there and welcoming staff. The village has excellent walks and paths and a joy to walk round. It takes only about 15 mins by car into the centre of Cambridge. The Barn itself is fantastic. Spotlessly clean and has everything you need and more for your stay. The extras in the fridge were most welcome for our Easter break and very kind. Verity was a lovely host and we had a great welcome and an overview of the place and the most stunning gardens which we made the most of due to the good weather. Thank you Verity - we will definitely be back soon. Gillian and Ken

Wonderful experience, great host
Beautiful property, within bike riding distance of Cambridge. Verity (hostess) has thought of everything in the annex: everything is of high quality, brilliantly equipped "kitchenette" and a lovely selection of high quality breakfast items, a very nice en-suite bathroom again with everything supplied. The outside garden is peaceful and very pretty, and the annex can be reached without having to go through the main property so coming& going without disturbing anyone else is easy This is one of the best places I've stayed in the UK on a B&B/self catering basis. Verity was a lovely host, being very flexible because of the issue of COVID and allowing us to change booking to accommodate the wedding that we were attending which was cancelled twice. Overall I can't recommend highly enough and would love to return for a longer period of time to further explore the area as soon as we get a chance.
